GSP? I don't know. That's a tough call. I'd imagine he'd keep it in his weight class. Brock? I say Cain.

In an interview afterwards, Brock said he wants to fight Fedor. However, even if a deal can be made with him, the timeframe would suggest at least one more fight before that.

Well, lets talk about this. Do you guys think Brock could hang with Fedor? I've yet to see Fedor fight apart from highlights and clips of him beating the shit of out Silvia and Arlovski. I think the fight would draw epic numbers.

I want to see Brock beat Fedor somehow just for the Sherdog explosion alone.

I'm sure there are a lot of people that would want to see the fight, but I still want to know if Lesnar could take him? I just don't know much about Fedor to say one way or another. I just know that the IMMAC (internet mma community) is all about Fedor.

Well, all the hype aside. From what I've seen personally, Lesnar wants nothing of Fedor. Fedor is an emotionless war machine.

Holy shit. I can see why everyone loves Fedor now. If I were any HW, I would want NO PART of Fedor. He's a fucking machine!

Yeah I heard of Fedor before and I didn't know what the hype was about and then I watched him take down Silvia and Arlovski and saw a clip of him against the 7'2" Korean guy and I've hopped on the Emelianeko bandwagon now.

GSP: Either Anderson/Sheilds/Diaz (unlikely) or Swick/Kampmann or extremely long shot Dan Hardy
Lesnar: Carwin, Cain, Santos, Cro Cop, Big Nog...(outside chance: Fedor or Barnett) |

Holy shit, they even have the Randlemanplex in there towards the end of that first video. Amazing that Fedor still won after taking the most beautiful and brutal suplex I've ever seen and getting dumped on his head.

I think the world wide appeal of Fedor/Brock would blow the fucking record buy numbers away.
If Brock can win one more fight, they will do Fedor/Brock and it will be amazing. I think Nog will get the Nod, but there is a chance for Mir 3.... |

Brock vs Fedor.....If I was a betting man I'd probably put money on Brock. Fedor is amazing and I am on the bandwagon, but no way does Fedor take him down and have his way with him. I don't see this fight staying on the feet.

Is Hong Man Choi or that fat black guy nearly as gifted as Brock? If Brock pulls a Randlemanplex I think he'll follow up with some brutal ground and pound. However, if Fedor can land on his head like that and pull out a win, he's a machine.
The reason I think Brock is going to be a handful other than the obvious is I think he's going to be super hard to knockout, plus what submission could be applied to his upper body that he won't just power out of? I don't think a choke will go on tightly and I think his arms are too strong to arm bar/shoulder lock. |

As we've seen before, Brock is susceptible to submissions so I have no doubts that if applied correctly and locked on then Brock will tap. I don't think he will be hard to knock out either. I think sometimes he's too overly aggressive and that could get him in trouble. To me Brock is like a grizzly. You don't wanna take him head on and u have to watch out for his claws and he's deceptively quick.

Brock's stand up is only good because he has so much power. It won't help him when he's eating Fedor punches tho. Plus Fedor throws his hands kinda weird. I think that's what's really catching these guys standing up.

I don't see how you could bet against Fedor...(not saying he would be 100% to win, BUT if anyone could do it, it's Fedor)

I personally think that as long as Brock is cutting wrestler weight to make 265, he is as good as unbeatable as is possible in combat sports.
His takedowns are lightning fast, and powered by 290lbs of solid muscle. He can take anyone to the ground, put his cocksword on you and just keep hitting you, very hard. Not just that, but his neck is probably as big as my waist. Even if you catch him flush on the corner of his jaw, chances are his neck is so strong and stable that it won't KO him. His next fight should be the winner of cain/shane. The loser of that fight should fight the winner of Nog/randy, and the loser of Nog/Randy should fight Frank Mir. I think that GSP should just keep knocking the crap out of anyone in the division. Hang back for the superfights. He is still so young, he should do another 2 or 3 title defences, showing himself off to the ever-increasing audience, and once his profile is that big (and the same with Anderson) They should fight. It would be awesome right now, but in 12-18 months time, I would suggest they could make alot more money from it. |
