Darrel would be a good boss but he is an established character and part of me would not mind someone new being brought in..big star or not.

Perhaps Jo gets a wild hare and lets each member of the office take a day to be boss to see who does the best job? That might suck I dunno. Erin as boss would be sick funny tho.

They should just all get fired and start their own business doing something else.

I like that idea. I think an episode featuring Creed as boss would be hilarious. Intro and all.

with Creed, instead of being at the Desk in the intro, its empty and it like cuts to him making a weird and shady swap with a guy in a trenchcoat in an alley. And then it is never mentioned again.

I hope one episode is about the office being taken over by the real Scranton Strangler and at the end of the episode Creed walks in and shanks him then says "I was never here" and leaves.

Yeah. I marked out a bit when I saw that ending. I liked the episode overall. They got back to the quirky light comedy stuff.

Awesome episode. I loved that the Jim/Dwight feud came to the forefront again.
Creed in charge is a go. Andy leaning on Darrell was hilarious too. |

I like who the Finger Lakes guy turned out to be and I find Nelly, the English woman, oddly attractive.

Yeah, I didn't think we'd get the new boss tonight. Makes sure that people tune in next season to see who got it.

James Spader's character needs at least a recurring role.

Nah I personally didn't think they'd name a boss. But considering all of the hype leading into the finale was "see who will be named the new boss!" it felt like somewhat of a bait and switch.
Pretty sure the writers haven't decided who it's gonna be yet either. My money's still on an internal candidate. Though if it winds up being somebody from the outside I'm sure the news will leak well in advance. Really good finale overall though. Happy Creed finally got an episode in as manager, easily one of the best characters on the show. Spader was brilliant. Gabe being a total douche during interviews and Darryl's inability to create a proper resume were also high points. "Where did the paperclip guy go? I think he was named......Clippy." |

I think I'll officially throw my support behind Andy. His character has developed nicely over the past season. It makes sense as he's educated and seemed to be the only person to have good ideas in the interview before Gabe crapped on them. He also has the shittiest sales record so getting him out of sales and into a people person role would be interesting.
Wanted to punch him in the face for turning down Erin though. |

A little advice, take a day off from the whole "Jim" shtick. Try caring about something. You might like how it feels, James.

Wish they'd have got Will Ferrell full time. Not normally a fan of his 'typical work' but I thought he and his character were excellent during his 'arc' and that he was pretty much the highlight of the season outside of the Brentmeister General's first cameo.

And pretty sure the new boss will be one of the 3 candidates already in the office unless they can a proper 'name', hope it's Andy

Spader was great but I don't know when he isn't. I think Catherine Tate is going to get the part.
I really really hate the character turn of Darryl. He went from this laid back, but driven and somewhat serious character to a lackey and kiss ass these last three episodes. |

Pretty annoyed, honestly. Decent episode and all, but the non-reveal was a bit of a pisser, if not predictable.

Supposedly the story is that Spader was hired as the manager and then proceeded to take the company over within a day. Awesome.
