"Whose Line" was great and needs to come back.

If it did come back, I don't think Ryan Stiles would be involved. I've read he felt burnt out and didn't want to do the improv stuff anymore.
Plus, it depend in what way it would come back. The US version or the UK version? Bring back the old cast or get a new one? If it did come back, Ross Noble (UK Comedian) would be great in it. His shows are all improvised for the most part and he's great at miming and stuff. |

Metallica sucks.
Anyway, I'd like to see the concept come back. New cast and everything. I enjoy both versions immensely, and it's not so much the cast as it is the quality of the cast. Get a good rotation and I'm sure it'd be awesome. |

WLIIA? is repeated constantly over here in the UK (on 'Dave' and 'Five US'). I used to love the show when I was younger don't really watch the repeats though.
I wouldn't be against a revival. I think some of the current crop of British comedians would be quiet good on it. Frankie Boyle, Russell Howard, Michael McIntyre are names that spring to mind. |

I'll definitely agree that the original host beat the hell out of Drew Carey, but most of the main players were the same. I never noticed that much of a difference (aside from them pimping Wayne Brady for all he's worth in the later seasons)

They had every right to pimp him...he puts everybody else's singing improv to shame.

I agree with that, but I think his seat should have been rotated instead of locking down three seats for the majority of the US run. Two or even one locked down would have been better.
Not that I don't like Wayne, but I would have liked to see Proops, Jeff Davis and a few others play in more episodes. If they ever revive it, I want only one or none permanently locked down instead of how they did the last run. |

True; he was definitely one of their better performers, especially with the muscial games. I saw his show "Making Shit Up" while I was out in Vegas, and it was awesome. I think it was more a matter of over-exposure that made me not like him.

My biggest problem with it now would be that there isn't variety. It's always cheesy family friendly comedians. It'd be gold if they had an R rated improv show like this on HBO

Collin Mocherie was easily the funniest of the crew. Wayne Brady tried too hard

That's why when XL suggested Frankie Boyle, I thought including him would instantly make it more of a post-watershed show than the US version was. Frankie Boyle would be very funny if they went for that style. If they went for the lighter cheery US style, Frankie would have a very hard time on the show. I've never seen him on anything family orientated unless you count Have I Got News For You and I'm sure most of his stuff would have been edited out of that show. |

If they bring it back, it'll be a shame if they ignore Mike McShane again.

On the subject of WLIIA, it was playing on the tv screens in the gym last week and not a single person seemed to crack a smile at it. I didn't even have the sound on and I was still trying not to laugh out loud. In fact, whenever something comical is playing, they never smile, ever. |
