Describe what makes Kevin Owens a badass and not a fat neckbeard w/ a beer gut
I've seen him wrestle but many have not and they think he looks like a HABM. Describe for them how he isn't just some fat dude in basketball shorts and a wife beater.

It's really more of a cutoff t-shirt than a wifebeater.

That is the guy who came out last week during the Cena segment right? He needs to become a lackey for Wyatt.

Owens exudes an air of believability, from both a promo and in-ring standpoint. He may not be the most buff dude on the block, but you probably wouldn't fuck with him in a bar. He's goal-oriented and non-remorseful, which makes him dangerous.
I dunno, why was Mantaur a threat to anyone? |

Well where do I begin?
We are entering a stage in wrestling where the wrestlers are starting to be smaller than what they used to be. They don't have to have the classic look of a wrestler anymore. Paige and AJ are different as well as Lita on the women's side. On the men's side, Daniel Bryan, Neville, and Dolph Ziggler. Wrestlers are getting called up for the sake of wrestling. They are performers that they can market in a specific role. Enzo Amore is NOT. A prototype wrestler, but his performance and charisma is so off he charts is makes up for it. The same can be made about Ceasro, he's not big on the charisma, but he makes up for it with what he can do in the ring that the average person can get behind. Lastly every Superman needs a Lex Luthor. Cena can't be an effective hero without an effective villain. KO is fitting that bill. Someone stated that he's being treated like Brock Lesnar with mic skills. He plays the role of a villain very well. And the extra stuff he does and the fact he says he does it for his family gives him layers of character. Most people don't go that deep, but what do,I know... |

promo/segment with Cena on RAW was hot shit. End of the Zayn match/the bit with Joe was hot shit. His stuff with Zayn and Riley before was hot shit. I think the answer is "because he is hot shit".

Well said and sums up my thoughts quite effectively and eloquently..... His passion is also very evident, he didn't fall into wrestling like some, he was a fan since he was a kid, living his lifelong dream.... should he ever turn face, he has that going for him as well....

I'd argue that The Miz is doing quite well for himself.

There are his motivations: Part of it is bitterness at getting passed over for so long before he got his moment. Part of it is his wanting to get what he wants to support his family, everything and everyone else be damned.
He believes everything that he says, which helps make the guy special on the mic. He's a fat guy in a business that has been short on fat guys lately. And despite being a fat guy, he can go very well. All put together, he could be the best heel foil for Cena since Edge or Punk, if they let him. |

Help explain:
Does he do typical 'fat guy' wrestler moves such as: Big Splash, Bear Hug, sit on his opponent like Earthquake/Yokozuna, The Nerve Pinch, Brain Chop, etc. |

Describe if he gets winded easily or 'blows up' after a certain time (like 10 minutes into the match, etc).

His promos are so matter of fact and he never really yells nor is he even that forceful when he gives them(though he can be) but at the same time they carry across the idea that he is an extremely dangerous opponent. Its almost impossible to hate his motivations but at the same time he is a dick.
Pretty damn complex wrestler I could go on forever. |

I asked this question in the casual forum after seeing some gifs of him standing over John Cena. Mick Foley was believable as a fat guy because he was legit crazy and would kill himself to win a match. Usually fat guys are also really tall so they're just general big units like Viscera. This guy doesn't seem tall. Just kinda looks like a redneck wrestling fan or something.

His badassery revolves around how well he's played the arrogant bully character.
He's not the sore loser or random attack variety Sheamus has been but more calculated with his bullying. Tries to goad people into feeling sympathetic towards him because all he wants to do is provide for his family but shows no sympathy for others well being. Him being calm with promos could be explained as either him trying to lull the other guy into a cheap shot (ex. Cena) or knows its not worth the effort to get into a shouting match when he's just going to beat the crap out of the guy in the ring (ex. Riley, Zayn). |

Is he a "good promo?" Not like CM Punk whining style that everyone loves though. Actually entertaining?

I can deal with the fat gut if he would just life some fucking weights and have some arms that don't look like jello.
I can buy fat guy that's a strong good fighter but he just is a lard ass doing moves. |

His in ring work is enough proof. I wouldn't call him or Samoa Joe fat. They are bulky dudes that can be elusive in the ring. He has pretty much the same build as Wyatt and no one calls him fat. I wouldn't even call Henery fat. Now Viscera and Yokozuna were fat.

On the one small but of next I saw one time. There was a tag team and one of them was huge. Other guy was pretty small. Are they planning on pushing the huge guy? Seems like the perfect WWE guy.
Reminded me of a cross between Edge and Test. |

Yeah that's the guy. The little one seemed pretty charismatic. Could prob get them on the roster as a team then have "big Cass" go solo after a year or so.
