So I really don't see the problem here.

People are already yawning. I've seen very little enthusiasm for the match. That's a little bit of a problem.

Yawning at two names on paper. Maybe those yawners can see how they present it before they shit on it.

If you would have read a couple months previous that The Miz and Dolph Ziggler would be feuding eventually, you wouldn't bust a nut, but look how that turned out.

Seems like if they were scared of people shitting on matches they wouldn't book Roman in a main event.

They'll probably just work off of Jericho's face pops and start calling Roman Reigns "the most controversial champion since John Cena".

Thought they may have already said that. Maybe I'm imagining it.

Smarks like Noid don't like it because they are still upset that the injury prone Daniel Bryan didn't go over Roman at the Rumble. So anything with Reigns = bad to them.
Of course they also like Fandango and think he should main event. |

Well I don't like Reigns because he's boring and saps the energy out of the building when he talks. And right now, with literally no seeming change in which they book him or in his character, anything he's in automatically seems boring.
Moving him into the mid card wasn't enough. He's just the same guy doing the same shit in the middle of the card. A match with Owens also doesn't interest me, because, for one, we've seen it. For two, as Noid pointed out, one of the top two champs on your show has to lose. For three, a bullshit non finish, which could be a possibility, is also boring. I'd much rather they go different directions with both guys at that point. |

You're actually right. I saw their Backlash match. I didn't really give a fuck because they've run both guys into the ground. I suppose it is the fault of everybody that doesn't care that they don't care, right?

Perception is important. I can't believe this needs to be explained to people in 2016. Maybe they will present it well and people will magically care, but right now, the general consensus seems to be "Nah, fuck that". But nah, fuck those people, right? That's a problem.

Who would you actually care about? IT has to be Owens vs someone. They will still be building Y2J and Owens. Bruan? Rollins again? Or you want some scrub like Zayn? I mean hell, it's a small roster with only a handful of people capable of being in the main event at this point.
I don't see how they an Owens into the ground either. |

I never said fuck anybody, for the record. I just think the boo birds could possibly be a bit premature here.

You're possibly right, they might make it interesting, but there seems to be zero preliminary buzz for it. I think people are quite happy with Roman Reigns recharging his batteries out of the main event. The strong main event face push isn't going to work. They gave him his own little niche in the US Title division, and he can make that belt seem big time. No reason to abandon that plan.

There's no buzz yet because they're still building Survivor Series. Who knows what will happen there or beyond? Possibly nothing, sure, but I'm at least holding out hope.

That will be a good match, but it feels like a settlement program for Rollins. I dunno, I'm probably being negative there. A program specifically focused on Jericho might bring something out of Rollins.
