I also wanted to list Morgan from Kittie, Lacey from Flyleaf, Otep, and even Jen Ledger, who is the drummer from Skillet, but does some singing in the band as well.

The singer from Flyleaf seriously looks like a brunette version of Courtney Love. And I hate her voice.

Debbie Harry - Blondie.
Shirley Manson - Garbage. Florence Welch - Florence and the Machine. Sonya Madan - Echobelly. I also find that Nerina Pallot is fantastic for relaxing to. |

Shirley Manson from Garbage, but that's common knowledge. I also enjoy Tegan and Sara, Debbie Harry from Blondie, Brodie Dalle from the Distillers, Amy Lee from Evanesence, Louise Post and Nina Gordon from Veruca Salt, Fiona Apple, and
Tara Slone from Joydrop Lennon Murphy |

Can't get enough of... Kelly Clarkson...
Some of her stuff is dark... and pretty deep. And her voice is awesome. |

To be honest, not that many. I like the more edgy sounding women that sound a bit nuts. Patti Smith has a cool voice, the girl from L7 and the singer from the first Snake River Conspiracy album have a cool voices. The backup singer from Cradle of Filth is cool. But I don't think I have any of them on my ipod. They do sound cool though.
While stuff like MIA, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, Amy Crackhouse suck to me. Alica Keys is talented, I guess but I don't like her or stuff like that. Too sappy and I'm not that into women singing in those types of styles. Last edited by dronepool; 04-03-2010 at 02:11 AM. |

Yes it is. It's actually the only song of theirs I've gotten into. I hear the album is good though, might have to check it out.

The song comes on at the gym. I don't really like female singers but I dig the song.
