Shawn got a few pretty loud faggot chants in 1993 from the Raw crowd in the Mahattan Center.

So I am watching TNA on justin.tv and it's RVD VS. Rhino, the crowd is chanting "you sold out".
"You sold out"...isn't that traditionally a smark chant directed towards a wrestler who is leaving a company? |

There was no emotion in that First Blood Match, though it was solid stuff.

Rob the Rule Buster, lol.
http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news...26/detail.html NORTHGLENN, Colo. -- Neighbors call him a hero. But a Northglenn homeowner, who used to wrestle professionally, said he just did what a good neighbor would do. He helped catch an alleged thief. The former wrestler, who asked that we use his wrestling name, “Rob the Rule Buster,” said he was asleep early Sunday morning, when his wife woke him and told him someone was in their car. “I bolted up out of bed,” Rob said. “No shirt, no shoes, no socks. I just ran out in a pair of sweats and chased the guy about two houses up the street.” When the suspect jumped two fences to get away, Rob ran back home, got his shirt and shoes, then jumped in his pickup and drove around the block. He noticed the same man in someone else’s vehicle. “I yelled at him,” Rob said. “He bolted and tried to jump another fence. So I grabbed him. He kicked at me, so I took him down to the ground and dragged him out into the street.” Rob told 7NEWS that he sat on the guy until police arrived. “I was just angry,” Rob said. “Our cars had been broken into repeatedly since last May.” Rob said the thief stole some collector’s coins that he had in his car. In a previous heist, Rob said a thief tried to steal his wife’s stereo. He said police told him that the suspect, Robert Haverfield, was part of a theft ring operating in the area. Haverfield, 19, is being held for investigation of first-degree criminal trespass. Police said what the homeowner did was brave, but they don’t condone it. “People have been shot at while trying to confront criminals breaking into their cars,” said Sgt. Ron Haralson, of the Northglenn Police Department. “This owner was lucky.” The former wrestler said, “Neighbors have to look out for each other. That’s all I was doing.” When asked if the skills he learned as a professional wrestler helped him catch the suspect, Rob said, “I think they did, knowing how to position yourself and how to move to keep yourself safe.” Rob said that after he caught Haverfield, the suspect briefly struggled and then gave up. “I told him, ‘When you’re done, I’ll go and call the police.’ And he said, ‘Please call.’ He asked me to call them at that point,” Rob said. The homeowner added that he didn’t stop to think whether Haverfield was armed. “When I got home and talked with my family, they said, ‘What if? What if?'” Neighbors told 7NEWS they understand the safety concerns expressed by police. “Still,” they said, “we’re glad to have someone like Rob living down the block.” |

Hmmm...perhaps my memory is faulty. Rock first turned heel when he joined the Nation, right? For some reason I thought he joined the Corporation without ever turning face again. If Rock was already a heel why would they chant, "You Sold Out!"?

It does. I think it's because the guy doing it actually has momentum instead of doing it from a standing point.
