Looks interesting. I don't think there's been a movie quite like this but I could be wrong. Premise:
"Epic tale that centers on three stages in the development of primitive man, as seen through a 21-year-old hunter from a primitive tribe who must hunt mammoth to survive. " Here's the trailer: http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/180972...standardformat |

Looks kinda cool, I must say, it best not be portraying itself in anyway as real history, because it is not. I know, I was there.

The movie was so cliche. A couple parts they really could have drawn you in, but was anticlimactic. Could have been one of those epic flicks, but failed miserably. I don't even want to waste my time getting into a real review, just trust me and don't waste your time.

No, but its what I would say if I cared to review the movie. I mean, I don't care if you go see it. I'm just trying to save you the regret, $10 and 2 hours of your life.

OK FINE. Just for YOUR Hero.
This movie has many terrible cliches common of bad adventure movies. Classic and overused story of man chasing down women he loves who is captured by a baddie. Thats not necessarily bad in and of itself. This movie does not differentiate that plot enough to make it seem like it isn't cookie cutter. There are a few spots of action in the movie, but in all honesty are not exciting at all. In a movie like Gladiator, Braveheart or 300 the action is intense and is entertaining. The fighting in this movie fails to deliver on all grounds. The conversations that the characters have is absolutely terrible. Probably the most boring, uninteresting, shitty dialogue ever. I could have come up with it. The bad guy gets no build up what so ever. There is a shitty little minion bad guy that I guess you can hate, but not really. The main bad guy gets no build up so you can't hate him. The movie is anticlimactic in a couple parts big time. It builds up as if you expect something good to actually happen then the whole thing ceases. Its just a bad, uncreative adventure movie. It could have been fucking awesome, but it was terrible. The historical accuracy (of which there was none) sucked. You couldn't really feel the plight of living in 10,000 BC because it was done so shitty. |

Was pretty bad. Boring as fuck characters and just awful dialogue. Some of the effects were pretty decent tho. Still not worth the price of admission.

Went and saw this yesterday with my cousin and his girlfriend....
It was probably one of the worst films I have ever seen.... The only thing that made this movie worth sitting through was that we were the only three people seeing the movie at that time so we decided to do our own little mystery science theater... |
