I did it more as a joke but that shit was pretty wicked on certain maps. Very loud. Very deadly.

I'm all about the Riot Shield in MW, but in Blops I steal (i.e. perfect) Kalyx's "War Machine" loadout and with dual PMwhatevers and did pretty fucking well with it

Dual P90s with extended mags and dual glocks as well I believe.

Treyarch says Black Ops 2 matchmaking will now be based on latency and ping rates instead of the previous generic region based.

I do believe I had the turret killstreak to go along with War Machine for a hilarious kind of over the top hallway/capture point defense.

Been playing the leaked copy offline the past couple days. Love the new custom class system, so many possibilities and you never feel restricted. Ive been going against veteran bots, learning the new maps.

Pointstreaks are cool, and unlike MW3, i actually feel accomplished when I get them (the Warthog and Escort Drone streaks are beastly).

Also enjoy the ability to add the attachment of fire rate. It really turns those semi-auto rifles into monsters.

Couple thoughts:

1) Pointstreak system is great. You get points towards your streak for everything, like destroying equipment. The best thing is you get 10 points every time someone kills the opposing team when your UAV is up.

2) the Guardian UV ray thingy rocks. 10 points every second that someone is stunned by it, 75 points for assisted kills with it, and it causes damage while theyre trapped in the ray.

This game is definitely going to allow everyone to contribute and gain high streaks

Not really, because dying still resets your streak, and the distance between streaks is pretty balanced. I've purposely camped an entire match using nothing but assist-type streaks to see how high i'd get in the totem poll, an never got close to dogs, VTOL, or a swarm (though i did get a swarm in a care package, which kicked ass).

When I play a game of CoD that says they're promoting balance towards team players, I honestly look at how it would apply to Roxer, and I really think this game does a good job of rewarding those who choose a UAV, a riot shield, etc.

Treyarch released a big list of all the things that will be ban-able offenses once Black Ops 2 arrives.

The majority are under the 24-48 hour bans while being offensive or using mods will get you banned from the streaming feature.

Anyway, I think Im sticking to Halo 4 which while unplanned looks to be the better of the two since its multiplayer far exceeds any experience I have had playing CoD.

Asking for opinions in a thread regarding the game and given that they have been negative so far means I am whining and not preventing myself from wasting $70.

So apparently Activision or whoever they had in charge of the physical PC copies sort of screwed up a bit during production since some Disc 2s are actually the second disc used for Mass Effect 2.

Valve fixed the problem quickly for anyone who installs the game on Steam by transferring the game as a full digital copy once the cd key is activated.

Who has given this game a negative opinion? You've mentioned this twice now, about an 'overwhelming response' of negativity, and based in on two XBox pals returning it the same day?

Either buy it because youre interested, or dont. Stop coming into a thread claiming youre gonna pass because its the 'same ol' same ol'', which is hilarious because you've purchased CoDs in the past that are, at best, minor upgrades.

Even Blops 1 was more similar to previous Cods than this one.

WTF are you expecting in a shooter? The basics will remain the same in ALL FPS games, you point the fucking gun, and pull the fucking trigger.

About the Mass Effect 2 fuck up.

Your thoughts on Blops 2 is your thoughts. Personally I rather you play the game it being a series you're linked with for so long, and taking opinions of people only go so far. It was only after playing Halo 4 with somebody in the know that your thoughts on it changed rather dramatically in the last few days.

Now it may seem crazy that I of all people am telling you to try the thing, but the bigger message is to be your own consumer. I play games that people don't care for, but I play them, and I can defend or vilify them from a position of authority. Make sure your reasons are not paper thin. You'll never hear me say ______ is shit/awesome because he/she said it was shit/awesome on some review or whatever. I gotta play the thing, or at least research the shit out of it.

I also suggest Kill Confirmed for the early levels, as the pointstreak system allows for quick build ups to your streaks when you kill and get the tags.
