Christian one of the most horrendously underrated and underused guys in history.
He is getting my vote, especially since he will most likely lose this in a landslide. |

Christian was definitely underrated and underutilized in WWE, but HBK is a bonafide legend. I'm a peep, but I can't give Christian the nod here.

Christian is a talented wrestler and personality for sure. He managed to build a solid career for himself despite a size disadvantage and has shown talent both on the mic and in the ring.
And then, while Christian has had a solid career with some really good matches, Shawn Michaels has had a legendary career with some of all time greatest matches, marred only by his extensive absence due to injury and coming back to defy all expectations and just being incredible all over gain. Basically, anything Christian can do, Shawn can do better. Christian is a great wrestler but few can really take it up there with HBK. He is one of the big pillars of the wrestling industry, and had paved the way for "smaller" guys to excel in a time when the hosses dominated. If it were not for HBK's extraordinary career in the 90's, guys like Christian might never have gotten the shot that they had. I also find HBK to be much more charismatic than Christian. Often Christian's promos and character felt forced like he was playing a character while Shawn has always felt like Shawn. Just about the only category where I can see Christian better than Shawn is that outside the ring, Christian seems like a nicer, cooler guy to hang out with. Shawn seems like he would be a bully unless you were in his clique. So, overall, although I think Christian is a REALLY good wrestler, I believe Shawn outclasses him in nearly every category. Sorry Christian, but you never should've went against the heartbreak kid. Damn now I want to see a Christian/HBK feud. |

HBK.
Christian was a very good wrestler but HBK was a lot better as an overall package and is among the all-time greats in wrestling. |

I'm voting Christian mainly coz I'm a peep and I feel bad for the complete annihilation he's gonna suffer here.
Also, Michaels himself loves reminding everyone how he's a born-again Christian. You don't hear Jason Reso going around bragging about being a born-again Shawn Michaels. |

Things that bother me about Christian:
* When he was a babyface post-ECW they never really let him talk. For a guy who can string a decent sentence together and had spent so much time in the business, I found this really odd. It's like they wanted him to be as generic a wrestler as possible. * Why the fuck does he not have a job on WWE television. He'd be a better commentator than Byron Saxton. |

If I remember, Vince never really liked him that much as a potential star. Supposedly Vince doesn't like his face which lead to the rumor about wanting to have it censored with a giant blue dot for tv.
Similar reason why he never got to have a proper retirement sendoff and if it wasn't for Edge, probably would never have been brought back for tv segments and Network stuff. |

The ECW run was a bit weird, but I can see why they did it. Vince would have been a bit tiffed with Christian, but it gives him a chance to be a "main eventer," but away from Vince's real main eventers. And he was sort of used as a veteran hand to try and guide guys like Swagger and Ezekiel Jackson. It still sucks that Christian had to lose to Zeke and not Regal though. |

Christian as ECW champ was my favorite version of him. I liked the way he worked matches as the top face on the brand. There were little things like that move where he'd jump through the ropes as someone was charging him in the turnbuckle and kick them in the face that were fantastic. He was likable as the medium fish in a small pond.

I liked some of those babyface Christian spots until he did them every match. That slingshot punch...

Actually, that was my least favorite Christian move, because I used to think of Christian as an in-ring minimalist. He was savvy, clever and conservative. Slingshotting into a punch is way too much of a waste of energy.

Christian had a lot of fun matches as ECW champ. That was probably his best work in WWE post tag team era

Christian had the only Zack Ryder match I've ever enjoyed. It actually convinced me that Ryder could work for a few years.

That being said, if Shawn Michaels wanted to he could probably do the same thing with Ryder. I use the word "probably" because it is Zack Ryder.
