If Kansas runs the table you gotta think they will be in...they are in a BCS conference...
I'm hoping its gonna LSU vs Oregon in the National Championship...Hopefully its anything other than Ohio State vs Oklahoma though |

If Kansas somehow gets by Oklahoma State and Missouri without a loss, there is no chance they get past Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship game.

Got woken up by obnoxious music this morning, so of course its game day.
Biggest game of the year at home for Georgia. I'm excited about going. |

BCS Chaos! Here we go...
So, what if Kansas runs the table and wins the Big 12 title, AND both Oregon and LSU win out and win their respective conferences? |

I heard MB if that happens then Kansas would bypass Oregon and face LSU in the national title game because Kansas ratings would go up HUGE with wins against Ok St, Missouri, and Oklahoma in the Big 12 title game.

The thing I worry about for Oregon, is the Pac 10 doesn't have a conference championship game at the end as kind of a final 'statement' game. A one loss team from the SEC (like LSU) or if Kansas flops a one loss team from the Big 12 (Missouri, Oklahoma) can go out with a big win over another marquee team in their conf. championship.
So If Kansas winds up dropping a game and we got a bunch of 1 loss teams left...I think Oregon is going to wind up left out. And they shouldn't because I think they are better than Missouri and Oklahoma, and it's a tough call between them and LSU. |

There was a rumor not long ago that Spiller was wanting to transfer to Florida until that one guy off USC did.

Missouri/Kansas, besides the rivalry and everything, could be a sick game. Both teams have such exciting offenses. Personally, and trying to be unbiased here, I think Mizzou will win relatively easily.

Just got my tickets for the BC/Miami game, hopefully they at least win that one. Haven't beat The U since the Flutie hail mary pass |

This is fucking stupid. There are 2 undefeateds in the B(ullshit)CS Top 25 (Kansas and Hawaii) yet Kansas(10-0) is ranked # 3 and Hawaii(9-0) is ranked 16th?! Meanwhile LSU(9-1) and Oregon(8-1) are #1-2 RESPECTIVELY?! How the fuck is that even possible?! Why isn't Kansas #1 and Hawaii, if not #2, closer than #16?! I DARE any sportswriter defend this stupid system now!!!

Because Hawaii is a product of their schedule, if they both continue to win out though Kansas will be #1 and Hawaii will be within the top 12 thus getting an at-large bowl bid.
I don't support the BCS system but what I just posted is the truth. |

Yeah I know the WAC is not a power conference in Division I-A, but maybe their AD should schedule more bigger schools in their non-conference schedule. Then they could probably ranked higher.

Hawaii won't schedule those teams because they will lose and miss out on a potential BCS bowl plus most teams do a home and home series and no big time college program wants to take 100+ college students to Hawaii in the middle of the season

I think Hawaii has thee tests that will prove them BCS worthy to close the season. They've already gotten past the first by surviving a second half scare from Fresno State (and Colt Brennan is apparently going to be okay after nearly being decapitated late in the game). Now, Washington is a decent Pac 10 team and they will probably be worth more BCS points than their actual toughest test...Boise State. Boise State is firing on all cylinders right now and is going to be tough to stop. If Hawaii wins out, beating those two remaining teams (plus the victory over Fresno) I think they are guaranteed a BCS game.

ESPN's article on the hit Brennan took is ridiculous and factually inaccurate...they call it a "helmet-to-helmet", implying it was an illegal hit. Which it was not. And the guy who delivered the hit was not penalized nor punished, as he shouldn't be. It was just a viscous legal tackle that is part of the danger of playing football.

Even with wins over Washington and Boise State I can't see Hawaii jumping into the BCS title scene. They will be in a BCS bowl though

Has anyone else paid attention to this Michael Crabtree kid at Texas Tech? He's a freshman wideout who has 113 catches for 1707 yards and 20 TDs already this year. I mean I know Texas Tech throws all the time but that is still insane for a freshman.

Fucking hell. I hope OU beats Kansas and gets the #2. I like Kansas, but have no intrest in watching them get destroyed by LSU. Oregon vs LSU would have been a great game. The only other game i think would be great is LSU vs OU.

West Virginia to lose at #22 Cincinnati tomorrow (50%) Missouri to lose at Kansas on the 24th (65%) Kansas to lose vs. Oklahoma in Big 12 title game (85%) LSU to lose vs. Arkansas or Georgia in SEC title game (40%) Ohio State beats Michigan (50% :/) all to set up a BCS showdown between Ohio State and Oklahoma aka stima's worst nightmare Last edited by Supreme Olajuwon; 11-16-2007 at 02:24 PM. |

Lol, Missouri is not going to play Kansas. Missouri is by far the best team Kansas will have faced all season, far more talented and equally as hot.
