Part of the pre-order program before Bungie decided to let everybody join. It was probably always the plan to push pre-orders, though Bungie does do these experiments with their betas.

A special unlockable emblem will be available to all beta players and all it requires is to play the beta past 2pm PST tomorrow. The emblem itself will only be available in the full game and not in the beta itself.

Way more comfortable with the 2 maps they threw in with PvP. No vehicles, tight knit.

Communication would be great. Some games, everyone's running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Others, the team knows what's going on gets stuff done.

Bungie revealed some new details about Destiny while also trying to ease some concerns about playable world sizes.

Each planet in the game will only have 1 playable location (ex. Old Russia is the only location for Earth) but stressed that they are planning on pumping out a lot of content to keep each location as fresh as possible.

All the groups I would be with were made up of so much fail they could NEVER take down the god damn spider tank on the level 6 strike. I solo'd the strike up to that point while they ran around DERP DERP!

I took it down myself once. And me and my brother took it down one time. When I worked with four other guys in a public event fighting it; we barely beat it in time. More than likely the fucker scales its difficulty based on how many people are fighting it and what level they are. He can go from a pussy cat with a lot of health to FUCK YOU DIE LOL.

Just wish people would have realized that if you blast the yellow lights on his legs and/or any open area when he releases the sharks, he takes critical damage. Everyone was standing so close to him, causing him to discharge and they would die all the freakin time.

According to Bungie, 6-player raid mode can only be played with people on your friends list.

Yeah. Need to take a head count with my buds and see who's getting this.

Gonna suck cause there's gonna hoops to jump through to get everyone on at the same time for about 2 hours. Hoping Bungie pulls a 180 on this and does this via general matchmaking.

This is one mode that demands a Fireteam, and it sounds like a very demanding experience. If they turn it around I would wonder if people will be happy seeing strangers rage-quit a seemingly unbeatable-if-solo mode. People may likely play with friends anyway.

Instead of 6 it should be three or four. I assume the specific number is because of certain challenges and puzzles that require six people.

Game will launch with a soft cap at level 20 and special gear is required to expand it in terms of stats.

Best Buy has joined Walmart and others who have started cancelling pre-orders for the Ghost edition. According to a few sources, the PS4 version seems to be the only version affected while those with a Xbox One Ghost pre-order are safe for now.

Also best to not bother using Ebay to get one since scalpers have already hiked up the price to 2-3x its regular value as a result.

1st expansion pack was announced to be arriving this December.
