I'm still putting my money on HHH but to be honest I'm probably wrong.... and yeah I think it's gone WAAAAAYYYYY to long now, and really wasn't ever that great IMO. Well except for when Edge killed it and it was screaming "Help me Cole, do something!" that was pretty freakin' funny

They first started this Raw GM shit on June 21st, a Raw I happened to go to live. Never did I think it would still be going on now nearly 7 full months later.

It is HHH, seriously, the IWC hasn't caught on yet? But yeah in this era it has gone on longer than expected.

Was Otunga the biggest celebrity to win a WWE title? (Not counting The Rock since he wrestled before doing movies\TV)

If I were to get a "mark out" reaction, I'd go with HHH, but it could be something else and I'm not getting my hopes up for something that could just be another PG rated joke

Honestly, I just dont care until they anounce it. Until then, the GM is a lap top with the voice of Michael Cole.

Come on this is Mick Foley we're talking about. He'll be back eventually, either for a one off, for some short skits, for commentating or at least for a Hall of Fame appearance.
This is the wrestling industry, Mick Foley will one day be back in the WWE, whether it's next week, next year, within the next five years or the next twenty, he will be back. |

It wasn't that he didn't like being a commentator. He hated getting yelled at through the headphones by Vince.
But I see Mick Foley returning to WWE as an ambassador/agent, and for his HoF induction. But not for another run as a wrestler. |

He'll be back for an angle or two, no doubt, and the Hall of Fame.
As a regular? No. He's done being a regular. And he won't go back to announcing. I COULD see him getting in the ring one more time the year he goes into the Hall of Fame, but otherwise it'll be to do an angle with someone and maybe be a guest ref. He's clearly on great terms with WWE, considering they plugged his book a few months ago. |

I don't think they have any plans to reveal the GM anytime soon. I think they like the mystery of it and how over it is getting Michael Cole as a heel.

Can't say I have an opinion on who the GM may be, but I do believe that this whole arc will persist for the foreseeable future.
The reason being is because I think they will try to stretch it out until the inevitable return of Jericho. That way his arrival could be due to him finding out the GM's identity since before he left he announced that he had obtained the IP address. This would not only help tie up any loose ends, but also revive some energy into a scenario that has long since lost its steam. |

Yeah I was annoyed with the GM thing there for a hot minute, but not anymore. It isn't over used anymore and on top of that it is adding nice fuel to the crowds hatred of Cole. God I love Cole.

It's merely a device. Having the General Manager serve as an anonymous presence allows them to alternate between a face and a heel, depending on what mood the WWE is in. They will put a face to the role one day, but it's not needed right now.

Was looking through the USPTO, and it seems that WWE still holds WCW as a separate entity, officially "WCW, Inc". The Stamford address is WWE's HQ, and funnily enough Google lists it as "XFL".

How about...Taker vs. Cactus Jack in a HIAC for Taker's 20th win in a row at Wrestlemania?
It might not be as fun to watch as it was way back when...but Foley will still take the bumps, I'm sure. Anyway, I'd like this as a good send off for both guys. In theory, I think its a great idea, but I don't think it will happen. Just a thought. Anyway, we have not seen the last of Foley in WWE. If he wants one last WWE match, WWE will find something for him. |
