Make Your Own Title Scenes

With all of the new talent on the roster, where would you place them all? For example:

WWE Championship - Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Randy Orton, Rusev, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt

Intercontinental Championship - Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose, Bad News Barrett, Roman Reigns

United States Championship - Sheamus, Ryback, Stardust, Jack Swagger, Erick Rowan, Big E, Miz, Big Show, Kane

Tag Team Championship - The Usos, Miz/Mizdow, Ascension, Kofe/Xavier

I know that I'm missing a handful of important superstars, these are just the people I could think of off the top of my head. Just curious to see where everybody thinks each superstar deserves to be on the card.

On the subject of title scenes, why isn't Rusev vs. Cena for the title? I know Cena is above the US championship, but storyline-wise, why does that make Rusev exempt from having to defend it?

Would add some serious value to the belt to have the #1 guy going after it.

Anyways, I'd pretty much keep it the same as you, only I'd have Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler in the world title scene, and Stardust would be back to being Cody Rhodes.

I totally agree, I think having Rusev vs. Cena being for the US Title would benefit everybody. It would bring attention to the title (having the all American John Cena standing up for his country against the monster). It would help continue the Rusev build. It would give other people a spot in the title scene in place of Super Cena. Right there it benefits both the US and WWE Title pictures, it benefits Rusev, it even benefits Cena (in the eyes of a lot of fans, it would be a breath of fresh air not having Cena shoved down our throats in the WWE Title scene). Plus it seems as if they plan on continuing this feud for a while, so it only makes sense to involve the belt, it would bring so much prestige to it, especially with it being the US Title, having Cena being the American fighting to bring the title back to his country.
And I also agree, Stardust needs to go back to being a heel Cody. Dude could be money with the right push.

To be honest, it's not even about "breath of fresh air" or giving meaning to the title. It's just dumb how the title by default just isn't on the line... for no legit reason (kayfabe), other than coz it's Cena and he's above the title.

It's like when Cody was feuding with Orton as the IC champ and they never had a match with the IC title on the line, which really just made it obvious that Cody had absolutely no chance of going over on the PPV.

I guess Cena hasn't qualified as the #1 Contender to the US Championship, that's why he doesn't get the shot.

Of course, as a 15x World Champion you wouldn't expect him to have to.

yeah but can't they get past that by him simply challenging Rusev to "put up or shut up" for the strap.

Or have the revers and Rusev being so confident he offers to defend the title?

its probably because Cena is going over, so what would he do with the US title, its not like he's going to give the rub to anyone

Forgetting where guys are right now, given a while to actually push guys to the position I want them to be at, I'd have the title pictures look like this...

WWE World: John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Ryback, Johnny Curtis, Bray Wyatt, Rusev, Big Show, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns

IC: Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Bad News Barrett, Cesaro, The Miz, Damien Sandow, Sheamus

US (I'd make it a third-tier title as opposed to it being interchangeable with the IC): Adam Rose, Big E, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, Darren Young, Erick Rowan, R-Truth, Titus O'Neil, Tyson Kidd, Zack Ryder

Tag: The Usos, New Day, The Ascension, Goldust & Stardust, Los Matadores

WWE Title - John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Ryback (preferably heel, but face works too), Sheamus (see Ryback), Dolph Ziggler (as the HBK type), Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose (the black horse/wild card)

Intercontinental/US Title (because they're basically the same division) - Wade Barrett, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan (as a contender but probably not to win it ever), Tyson Kidd, Cesaro, Rusev, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose (yes he's in the WWE title picture too. You can do that you know), Dolph Ziggler (see Ambrose), Rey Mysterio (if he's still around), Jack Swagger, Miz, Damien Mizdow (maybe)

Tag-Titles - The Usos, Kidd and Cesaro, Slater/Gator (I miss them...), Gold & Stardust, Miz and Mizdow, The Ascension, The New Age Outlaws, The Lucha Dragons (NXT I know, but they should be called up), The Vaudevillians (see Lucha Dragons)

Divas Title - AJ Lee, Paige, Natalya, Tamina Snuka, The Bellas (I know I know they suck, but they do make decent heel bitches to get pummeled), Charlotte (NXT call up), Bayley (see Charlotte), Sasha Banks (also see Charlotte)

one big mistake wwe has made in recent years giving a guy the big title then you are stuck not being able to rescind him back to IC or US title race. at this point would anyone give a flying fuck about db, sheamus, and ziggler as IC champ?

best thing they can do is give ambrose and rollins runs with starter titles so that they can get ready.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar is obviously the champion. Seth Rollins has the Money in the Bank contract. Randy Orton will want Rollins' head when he returns. Daniel Bryan is perpetually over and never lost the title. John Cena is chasing that 16th World Title. Dolph Ziggler is looking to prove that he can be the WWE Champion. Big Show and Kane are there to make sure everything is "best for business," and maybe get a slice of the cake themselves. And Bray is basically a main event player now.

Intercontinental Championship: I'd have Dean Ambrose win the IC Title fairly soon. It'd be a nice little stepping stone for him. I'd then have him turn on Roman Reigns, costing Reigns his WrestleMania title shot, and basically challenging him to an IC Title match at WrestleMania. Reigns would win the title there, and get a practice singles champion run with the IC Title. He'd take on all-comers, and probably keep his rivalry with not only Ambrose going, but IC Title-obsessed Bad News Barrett as well. When Chris Jericho is around, he can want desperately to become a 10-time IC Champion, mixing it up with the likes of Ambrose, Reigns & Barrett. I'd have Fandango specifically set his sights on becoming the Intercontinental Champion, perhaps citing it as the reason he wanted to become a WWE Superstar. Curtis Axel also has a specific reason to attach himself to this division, given that he wants to be an even better champion than his father. John Cena has never been the Intercontinental Champion, so I'd like to see him try and win the title at least once. I'd put Ryback over Big Show at WrestleMania, and I'd have him try and win his first singles championship sometime after that. I'd have Bray Wyatt take out Goldust sometime before WrestleMania, leading to Cody Rhodes losing the shenanigans and starting a war with Bray. If this doesn't make Cody a main event star right away, then it stands to reason that Cody would want to put himself into a title scene. He was a stand-out Intercontinental Champion, and becoming a three-time champ is a perfectly reasonable goal for Cody.

United States Championship: I'd build Jack Swagger to be the guy who dethrones Rusev, and I'd have it happen at WrestleMania with Hulk Hogan in Swagger's corner. All-American babyface Swagger carries the US Title with pride, and manages to defend it successfully against Rusev, who becomes sort of obsessed with beating Swagger, the way that Swagger had become obsessed with beating him. Rusev could also take a "well, we'll just go after the IC Title approach" eventually, and end up competing for that title too. Chris Jericho could also go after the US Title, because it's the only championship evading him. For that reason, I'd also be curious to see Randy Orton mix it up in the US Title division later in the year. I mentioned Ryback in the IC Title scene, but I don't think he'd particularly care which title he held first time around, so he can be in this division too. I mentioned Cody Rhodes in the IC Title listings, but I can imagine he wouldn't object to the idea of being the United States Champion. Imagine if he won the title and brought back the classic WCW design for the title belt?

WWE Tag Team Championship: The Usos are the team that always wants to stay together. Cesaro & Kidd get a run with the Tag Team Titles at one point, and then go on to have a few classics against new tag team -- Sami Zayn & Adrian Neville. The New Day stick together, and team in various formations, although I would turn them heel in the post-WrestleMania season. I'd also call up Kalisto to continue his team with Sin Cara against freshly turned heels Los Matadores. I guess Big Show & Kane can get a title shot in here or there, but I wouldn't give them a third run with the Tag Team Titles. I'm not a fan of The Ascension, but I guess they stay together for a while. The Wyatt Family would end up back together in my perfect world, and they might be a good choice to win the titles off The Usos later in the year.
