Most Anticipated Battleground Match
I am pretty excited for the Battleground ppv. Out of the current matches involved there is not 1 piss break match. Have to love what the Miz has brought to the Big Show/Ryback feud. Any match with Brock bringing us Suplex City is amazing. The list goes on and on.
What match are you most looking forward too? |

Lesnar/Rollins is the easy choice for me. I don't doubt for a second that Cena/Owens will have another fantastic match, but I want to see Rollins do the bumping of the century for Brock.

Rollins and Lesnar just to see what direction the match goes in. Really hoping they keep the title on Rollins and get Lesnar out of the title picture to feud with someone else.

Leaning towards Rollins-Lesnar just to see how badly Lesnar destroys Rollins but pretty much a toss up between the US and WWE title matches.
If that fight ends up anyway similar to Reigns vs Lesnar in the sense that Rollins takes a lot of beatings but can stay a bit competitive, its going to improve his standing by a lot. |

I am SO READY to watch another epic encounter between Cena and Owens, because this is not only the rubber match, it's Owens' full-time call up match where he's leaving the show as NEW WWE United States Champion.

Also, I hope we get some hint as to the "change" in the Divas' division that Paige talked about weeks ago. I just hate how stale the division has become. It seems like there's definitely a lot of talented girls on the roster, but that means nothing without a meaningful storyline re: the Divas' title, the entire division and/or a few of them developing characters with different personalities, which I would argue is even more important for the women than it is for the guys, as with fewer divas than superstars, and only one title for the entire division, being one-dimensional won't win any of them a title, nor will they be over with fans.

Wyatt and Reigns intrigues me. Really could get both to the next level if done right. Would like to see Wyatt win the feud but I don't believe he will.

Wyatt vs Reigns is alright I guess. I still can't take Wyatt seriously though. His aura is gone.

I am looking forward to Lesnar vs Rollins. Kinda feel might be some kind of swerve maybe even from Triple H.
Also think now that Owens lost the NXT championship, he will win at Battleground now. |

- Owens beats John Cena convincingly - Owens goes on a long US title run - Owens wins the Royal Rumble -Owens wins WWE title at WM 32 Sounds ridiculously OTT but I think they should have done the above with Rusev who has no lost any aura of invincibility. This isn't about making Owens look invincible but moulding him into a genuine star of the future. Maybe WM 32 or these "runs" might be too soon for him and the question you could ask is, what about Wyatt, Reigns, Ambrose? They seem to have dropped the ball somewhat with Wyatt but I honestly feel if they build him right, Owens could be one of the best heels in wrestling. |

They should have allowed him to beat Cena and then beat the Undertaker or not even faced him at all. Whether or not he's done something to piss off the powers that be and hence this "demotion" who knows but it seems that his potential to have been a big star has somewhat been sapped away. |

Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar is probably the most interesting. Cena vs. Owens will be great, but Lesnar has got that magic. I'm actually vaguely interested to see what Ziggler and Rusev do, since Rusev's first match on television was against Ziggler, and really quite good. I also feel that both have something to prove.
Oh, and anything The New Day has been doing lately has been entertaining. Not too interested in seeing them feud with The Primetime Players when the Lucha Dragons are flying around though. |

Not winning the US Title doesn't immediately equate to nothing. I think that odds are he wins the title, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if he didn't -- especially if he had something to segue onto.

If they plan to keep Dolph Ziggler off television until he can build towards a SummerSlam match with Rusev, I would be running Rusev vs. Cesaro at Battleground. That match could be stellar.

Nah, man. He's got to win it either Sunday or @ SSlam if there's something to lead into a rematch if he doesn't win clean at Battleground. Otherwise they're wasting Owens', and the fans', time.

What if Owens lost to Cena and then interjected himself in the main event to earn favor with Seth Rollins, and by association, The Authority? What if SummerSlam featured a Lesnar vs. Owens match? I'm not saying they should go that way, but Owens is the heel and doesn't need to come out looking constantly better than Cena (who is still the WWE's cash cow).

No offense, but I definitely don't feel like he's anywhere near ready for the main event/WWE WHC title scene or they would've interjected him into it from the outset of his call-up.

Yeah, they could build to that Owens/Lesnar deal, with both being dominant. Let's not rush KO to the top of the card, the only way is down from there.
