Eric Bischoff WWE Run Appreciation Thread
Eric Bischoff's run as the RAW GM was amazing. His heel work was great. He made the Austin co-GM thing bearable. In Avatar form: |

I've actually been trying to dig up a vid of one of the first confrontations between Eric and Mr. McMahon from either '02 or '03 where Eric's worried Vince is going to fire him, so he tries to bribe/distract him with "bisexual lesbians", but Vince sends them away, telling them "you can just bi-sex your little asses out of my ring, because Eric and I have business to discuss" or something like that. Can't turn it up anywhere.

Yeah, Bischoff was great as RAW GM. At a time where it really felt like RAW/Smackdown were real rivals.
Bischoff also has "distinction" of being booked to come up with "original ideas" like Raw Roulette, HLA, and the Elimination Chamber.... everyone else was just happy to leave the status quo.... never tried anything new... |

Eric Bischoff was an effortless performer. I'd mark the fuck out if Seth Rollins schemed with him to keep his title at Battleground. Heyman vs. Bischoff continues.

I did like the way that the brands had a unique feel to them during the Bischoff era. You'd get entirely different match types on RAW and SmackDown. The Elimination Chamber was originally a RAW creation, for example. Hell, Money in the Bank was too.

Man, seeing the General Managers both scrapping to make Sasha Banks a brilliant offer would be...brilliant.

I was sad when his run was over, I think smackdown went through 4 GMs with his one reign.
