Was the WWE Championship considered a secondary title durning its tenure on Smackdown?
Out of curiosity, was the WWE Championship considered a secondary belt to the World's Heavyweight title while it was on Smackdown?

Maybe during JBL's reign but the WWE title was equal if not greater during the early brand split era.

Ask yourself one question. Was Triple H champ at that time? We all know the answer now depending on that fact.

I would argue that the WWE title was a secondary title from Eddies title win on February 15, 2004 to Summer 2005.
Most of this was JBLs reign, but it also creeps in to Cenas first reign as well, where he was defending the title against Christian and Y2J where as the Batista and HHH feud was going strong. |
