Luke Harper is awesome.
Bray Wyatt is sweet and stuff, but I think Luke Harper may be the MVP of the Wyatt Family. I hope WWE realizes this.
What worries me is the shelf life of his gimmick. In order to cement a legacy, he's going to have to evolve into something eventually (not necessarily any time soon), and I hope whatever he becomes isn't something stupid. I guess that goes for the entire Wyatt family. But yeah, Luke Harper might be my current favorite wrestler. Your thoughts? |

Yeah I agree, in fact he was my underrated pick in that overrated/underrated thread.

Like all 3 of them, he's got some nice athletic moves for a guy his size though.

Luke Harper is the goods. I can honestly see him being champ one day.

Yeup Harper is amazing.
Think he's fine gimmick wise and maybe could just tweak him a bit to be more brute-like similar to Henry or Kane. |

Agree with everything bar him being the MVP of the group. Wyatt has been awesome and has 'become' the gimmick just as much as Harper. Where Wyatt stands out though is the talking and, at the end of the day, that goes such a long way in wrestling (see JBL).
I admit that I dunno what Harper is like on the mic, but hopefully he can stand out given the same opportunities. |

As far as the MVP, I still give the nod to Harper. His MATCHES are even dope as fuck. There was a period where Wyatt wasn't doing much ring work at all, and Harper was carrying the load (which made sense in terms of protecting Bray). He has consistently awesome matches, and he's probably the most fun character on WWE TV to watch for me right now. Bad News Barrett was getting to that level, but damn it. |

I absolutely love Harper as well, and think the tag match with the Usos was the best match at MitB. Very interesting character, and so long as they don't job him out needlessly, he could be a major player one day.

I think he's fine with his current gimmick.....it worked well enough on the indies as Brodie Lee to get him this job, why change it (See Ambrose/Moxley)

I don't know, I like all three guys for different reasons. Bray is just so overly dramatic, he brings back that "pperformance" aspect to wrestling as opposed to just being another big strong guy. Rowan, on the other hand is exactly that. He's big, no nonsense, nothing too flashy, just inflict pain on my opponents because I'm ordered to. Harper is alittle bit of both of those. He can do things that most big men don't and he still has great facial expression and portrays a unique character in the ring

Harper has the best facial expressions in the WWE. I always think back to the time he was holding Cena up for Wyatt, Huge vacant eyes just staring at Wyatt like a brainwashed animal. Awesome.
Hes great in the ring, fits his gimmick and owns it, and hes good on the mic. If he was to ever go on his own, lets say that Wyatt gets injured or written off a bit, I would have him become a Jake the Snake type. Crazy, Cryptic Promos, low engery and silent. Let him "lead his own flock". |

The thing I love about Harper is how naturally the gimmick works for him. I mean, the guy's pretty much always been a giant killer redneck in a filthy wife-beater, so the only thing that's changed over the years is his name and that his hair got longer.
I could still watch him kick Tim Donst's head off all day. Side note: I'd like to think that's the same wifebeater he wears to this very day. |

Really love Harper. I could actually see him being the champ even under Wyatt. He seems like he could be a "secret weapon" and someone Bray backs in title situations.
