CM Punk could feud against Daniel Bryan and argue about how Daniel is a back stabbed who took advantage of punk leaving to grab the spotlight instead of having his best friend's back. punk is done trying to be a savior and living by his code, his only rule now is that he will kick everyone's ass and will headline WrestleMania 31.

Like I said earlier, Cessaro should have been the 4th guy.

I was going to throw this into my earlier post, but I decided against it, because I thought that people would be all "Dude just got with Heyman man" about it, but I really do think that would be a great idea.
Think about it: Paul Heyman wants Cesaro to be the next top tier player in WWE. What better way to get him there than to align him with the Chief Operating Officer and true Authority in WWE? Heyman doesn't need to like Triple H, he doesn't need to kiss ass, but he can be smart and manipulative enough to strike up a deal that's truly...best for business. Much like it was the right decision to bring Brock Lesnar back to the WWE, it is best for business if someone takes out Daniel Bryan as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Heyman can jump on Triple H's hatred of Bryan and The Shield as ways to get his guys title opportunities. Perhaps Cesaro joins Evolution while Brock Lesnar goes after Daniel Bryan? Man, imagine that eight-man tag -- Daniel Bryan & The Shield vs. Brock Lesnar & Evolution. |

It could be Cesaro being laid with the blame for Evolution's loss against The Shield that leads to him going European uppercut bad-ass crazy on everybody in something resembling a face turn.

Barrett, Sheamus and Cesaro all have something going on right now to keep focus on them. I'd sooner they use the role to give somebody else a shot in the arm too. Ziggler or Cody would be perfect candidates.

Del Rio is a good choice, but I like Ziggler. Remember all the talk of him back in the day being paired with Flair as his protege....well, here is the absolute best possible set up for that.
But then I have an idea for a darkhorse candidate. What about Cesaro, thus making Heyman the mouthpeice for Evolution. Think about that awesomeness. |

Del Rio is on his way out. I say give it to Sandow, he could use a visual makeover and he could turn from comedic to serious with just a little less pedantry.

That would also poo poo the idea of jumping into Evolution, since that would make him full on heel and unintentionally make Heyman a face in such a situation (there's been no love lost between Authority and Paul E. since ever, and it would make little since to have him join up now). Also, he'd have no other clients that could appear on tv on a regular basis unless he brings RyBaxel back into his fold. Ziggler does seem to fit the bill. Sounds neat for Cody on paper, but they keep sticking him into tag teams and stables all the time, and he has only truly ever had one good singles run (white IC christening and obsessed with Rey Reys mask). Dolph back as heel- and officially endorsed heel at that, looks like a good way to grab someone underutilised. Same for that Sandow suggestion. |

Ok I have to ask are short trunks a prerequisite for getting into Evolution? If so that leaves guys like Swagger Ryback out.

The more I think about it, the more and more I like this being a "rebirth" for Damien Sandow.

I like Sandow, but I just don't know if he'd really fit. Triple H has basically snubbed the guy on TV like twice. Why would Triple H pick Sandow over all the other guys available?

I think the criteria for the next member of Evolution 2.0 will be thus:
Former World Champ Someone who can piss off the fans tremendously Someone who can believably go toe-to-toe with Batista and Triple H. Obvious choice honestly is Bobby Eaton. He fits the criteria perfectly. |

I like sandow as the pick. Could be set up as evolution saying if he beats so and so (since he hasn't won in forever) he is in evolution. They think it's a safe bet, and boom sandow steals one and begins to flourish in evolution. If I had to pick a dark horse, it would be either dean ambrose, or brodus clay. Dean strikes me as the type that could get "bought" out, and prob can pull off a suit, brodus is just a left field, never gonna happen, but in case it does I'm calling it.
What are your guys thoughts on someone new? Hernandez just quit tna, he could be legit muscle for evolution. |

I don't think Hernandez would fit the aesthetic of Evolution. Bit cliche, but put him with Del Rio or Hunico if you want him as muscle/bodyguard.

I'm actually for Evolution somewhat disbanding after Payback, to be honest. I was thinking the other day that a heel turn for Seth Rollins would be interesting though. We've always assumed that it will be Ambrose that turns heel (although dirt sheets did report Ambrose and Rollins), but I think the ship actually sailed on that. If they were going to have Ambrose throw in the towel and sell out to protect himself, then he should have done it to keep the US Title.
Seth Rollins, on the other hand, has been the voice of reason for The Shield. The egos of Ambrose and Reigns looked like it was going to take the group after they lost to The Wyatt Family, but Rollins walked out on them to keep them together. It'd actually fit his character if he turned on them and said he was sick of holding their careers together -- he needed to go into business for himself and go to the beat of his own drum again. Rollins has evolved and become quite a good speaker and an interesting character -- I think that as a heel he'd carve out some pretty good stories. Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns would then be two very different babyfaces, perhaps with a loose alliance, going after Rollins and The Authority. |

Roman Reigns is an interesting pick. I have to be honest, I'm not really digging this whole "Obviously Reigns is meant to be the guy you take notice of" direction the Shield vs. Evolution story has taken after Extreme Rules. It's clear that the WWE loves all three guys, and Ambrose and Rollins have been put in a very enviable spot, but even just things like the highlights of The Shield dominating to end RAW were all focused on Reigns. It just seems forced and annoying to me. Let all three guys shine.
A heel Reigns would allow that, though. Reigns coming out in a suit and being all "I'm the true Superstar" would put fans firmly behind Ambrose and Rollins as they try to beat him up. |
