Would suck for sure if true. Hope he gets well soon if it is, though.

TMZ and PWI have both reported on it and how he managed to get double pneumonia.

I suppose he didn't go to the doctor because he felt like he would be disappointing the fans, but if that's the case and he ever recovers and decides to do more shows, maybe he should have someone explain the meaning of "card subject to change".

And no disrespect to DDP, but how the fuck is Jake's condition a joking matter? Did he also "joke" that the spread of Jake's pneumonia through his body is "not a BAD thing...it's a GOOD thing! "
I'm sorry but the way that quoted post is written makes Page come off as at best extremely distasteful to joke about something so serious. Show some respect, FFS... |

Think the joke had to do eith the grumpiness, silly. Don't think Page is going around like, "Maaan, Jake is going to die because he went in a plane, HAHA".

this doesn't look good.
http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-t...in-abnormality Jake Roberts reported to have brain abnormality According to Kyle Magee, the lawyer, roommate and manager of Jake Roberts, the mass discovered in the head of Jake Roberts in testing this weekend was described as a brain abnormality. Magee wrote that in a letter to Bill Apter. He theorized the abnormality came from all the bumps he had taken as a pro wrestler. Magee said that Roberts was not unconscious on the flight, and had notified flight attendants of his severe pain and shortness of breath, and was rushed to the hospital and put in an induced coma at that point. In the letter, Magee said Roberts had been sick for at least a week but wanted to do Sinn Bohdi's show in Las Vegas on Friday. On the flight Roberts was in severe pain with his chest tightening and he was having difficulty breathing, and was found to have very limited functioning of his lungs due to double pneumonia. |

Kyle Magee, the lawyer, manager and roommate of WWE Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts, wrote in a letter to Bill Apter that the mass discovered in the head of Roberts was described as a brain abnormality. Magee's theory is that the abnormality was a result of all the bumps Roberts had taken during his career.
He did clarify that Roberts was not unconscious on his flight to Las Vegas and instead informed flight attendances that he was in severe pain and was having shortness of breath. Roberts was rushed to a hospital and then put into an induced coma. Magee also noted that Roberts had been sick for around a week and still wanted to do Sinn Bodhi's show in Las Vegas on Friday. http://www.wrestleview.com/wwe-news/...in-abnormality |

On a barely related note, I like Sinn Bodhi. Kizarny should have worked out.

The fact that Jake Roberts outlived Mass Transit should be enough to shake anyone's faith in god.

The fact that Jake Roberts is alive and doing stuff right now should be enough to make anyone think "Maybe drugs aren't so bad..."
