I was shopping the other day and saw the Transformers 2 video game sitting on the shelf, and realized that it was a videogame, based on a movie, that's a sequel, of a movie based on a cartoon, that was based on action figures.
It would only be funnier if it was lego transformers. Last edited by Jeritron; 08-09-2009 at 06:33 PM. |

I will agree that on a horror movie scale it did come up short. but it had alot of the elements the game has so it held true on what the game is about. The reason I would like to see a sequel is hoping they base it off the silent hill 2 game which in my opinion is the best of the series. |

Fuck, games can only be anime or saturday morning cartoons at best. They just never translate well because moviegoers who are not gamers and gamers just have way different expectations.

If they could make a Final Fantasy 7 movie that actually managed to maintain all the original plot would be fantastic.
But they couldn't fit it all in one, and if they did, it would suck. |

Already being made. I believe I read that Chiwetel Ejiofor was cast as Torque.
I think a Manhunt movie could be made. As long as it was a hard, hard R. Also think Soul Calibur could be done. I'd prefer to see it done as more of a "historical epic" than a "video game movie". The story could be made straightforward enough for a 2 hour flick. |

Shoehorning too many people in the movie can end in mortal kombat annihilation like failure. I mean, fucking Drugunov is in it, ffs. |

Same here. Good film. But sadly I've never played Doom 3, which this is more based on.
I want a Doom film based on the old-school Doom. Bring out the Cacodemons and Mancubus. And where's the Spider-Mastermind? Yeah! Total fucking mayhem is what I want! |
