If you were gonna move one from TNA to WWE (and vice versa)
Feel like we haven't done one of these posts in awhile. So if you could move one wrestler from the WWE to TNA (whether it be a young guy who could really shine in a smaller company or a veteran who deserves that "last shot at glory"), who would it be and why? Also, if you can move one wrestler from TNA to WWE (excluding guys who have already jumped ship to NXT) who would it be and why?

Kurt Angle to WWE to finish his Randy Orton to TNA. Was going to say Miz so I didn't have to watch him, but Orton would be a good match for TNA I think, what with his limitations as of late, in the same way it was good for Kurt Angle's health.

Great thread, Curtis Axel to TNA. If he could keep the name in TNA I feel like he would excel in TNA. He's doing nothing in WWE and I feel like a fresh start in a new company would be great. Could be Joe Axel if he couldn't heep his name I suppose.
Bobby Roode to WWE. I feel like he could come right up to the main roster and do fine. Keep The It Factor gimmick and have him work with guys like Ambrose, Owens, Cody Rhodes, Orton, Rollins, and Del Rio. Or have him and Storm team together under a new name and you have a legitimate tag team to work with. Others that I feel would be great in TNA are Fandango, and Adam Rose. WWE hasnt done either man any favors and don't seem to want to repackage Fandango any and I feel TNA or even ROH would be a great place for him. |

Orton would be great star power for TNA to build around and he'd be champion his first day in the company probably. A Orton/EC3 feud would be great but I don't see HHH letting Orton go to TNA and I'm not sure Orton would either but it would be interesting.

Reigns to TNA, he is one of the main reasons I stopped watching wrestling/
Kurt to WWE, to give him a proper send off.... Would like to see Cesaro go over him. |

EC III to WWE. Can play the Authority's hand-picked "Face of the WWE" better than Sheamus.
Cena to TNA. Gives TNA a big name and someone who can be used to help build TNA's future while the WWE is finally forced to put real effort on developing their next era. |

ECIII or Spud to WWE, I'd say Fandango to TNA but he's still recoverable if given the chance. Titus O'Neil maybe? Made a half-ass attempt at a heel turn, has a great look and a personality. Bit of a crap-shoot really, there are guys who you wouldn't think anything of beforehand that could go to TNA and with a bit of freedom, "discover themselves". And there are guys you would think could go to TNA and be a dead-cert and be nothing but a fart in the ocean.

I like the thought/idea of someone like Cesaro going to TNA. He's an "IWC darling" that probably won't ever get his due in WWE, so him going over might garner them some viewers from that demographic while also elevating their product (due to him being awesome), plus he'd be a bigger fish in a smaller pond, kind of thing... same with someone like Ziggler or something

Yeah I thought Ziggler should have left WWE this year when he had a chance. Can't hate on the guy for taking the money but I felt that a year or two away from WWE would do wonders for him. I can see Ziggler doing pretty well in TNA and he could probably benefit from having more control over his character.

EC3 is a tricky one, I love what TNA has done with him and wouldn't want him to return as Derrick Batemen, rather EC3. The only way I could see that happening is if Vince decide to buy TNA and I don't think he will. Could play it out that Ethan worked out a deal with Dixie's parents and sold the company under her nose. He could come in with the Authority appointed to the position by Vince himself for getting him TNA.

Not from TNA but ROH. I'd really like to see Adam Cole in WWE. Could happen in the future as the dude is still pretty young.

Not sure if this falls outside of the rules of the game as not currently signed with WWE (but fuck it, I'm a rebel), but CM Punk to TNA. He's the kind of superstar they would need to draw additional fans to the product, which is ultimately their biggest need right now. While you could argue for Cena, I can't see the Cena kiddies bothering to tune in just for Cena fighting someone they've never heard of, whereas for Punk some of his fans might just do that.
As for the other way, Bobby Roode just seems like the right kind of fit to make it in WWE so would be good for him to make it. |
