How to clean a hard drive...?
I want to totally wipe out my old hard drive but I forgot how to reformat it so everything gets deleted instead of just overlapping windows over windows.
Any help! Soon! |

Depending on if you have an NTFS or FAT32 drive. (If you need to find out, just open up My Computer and click the drive you want to reformat once, on the left side, under the details tab, it will say what file system you're using.
For NTFS go here: http://www.cyberwalker.net/faqs/rein...t-NTFS-XP.html For FAT32 go here: http://www.cyberwalker.net/faqs/rein...-FAT32-XP.html |

NTFS and Fat32 are just two different ways to manage files. There are more securty possibilities in NTFS, that's pretty much all.

Yeah basically that, if you're ever going to reformat again, format it to NTFS. Better option of the two.
