Can't believe that I am saying this but I don't hate Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins' entrance themes anymore.

Fucking get enraged any time I think of how bad wwe blew their chance to push ziggler to the moon after survivor series last year, and here they are rubbing it in my face?

Once again, could this be a foreshadowing of a Shield Triple Threat at Wrestlemania? The three still have intertwining storylines, whilst never having a legit three-way match. The ending was perfect in this regard, because it just further develops the rivalry between the three.
Please don't screw us over with this, WWE. |

And for my rant of the day... Paige cuts a "pipebomb" and now, oh, look at that, she won a fatal-four-way to become #1 contender... what a surprise!

I didn't watch any of Raw tonight but from looking only at this last page, it appears Bray Wyatt has gained superpowers. I'm for this idea.

Also, I like that New Day gif but I don't know why Seth Rollins is upset about Xavier being back.

Also again, that tweet slik posted at the top of the page is pretty spot on. Wyatt's a legend just waiting for writers to make him such. Step it up, WWE. You dumb fucks.

The Shield debuted by helping CM Punk retain the title against Cena and Ryback. They explained their actions the next night by saying they were there to fix injustices.
Days after that they attacked Santino and Zack Ryder... Fixing all the injustices those two comedy jobbers were responsible for apparently... Eventually it was revealed that they were likely just hired by Paul Heyman to protect CM Punk which would have made them attacking Ryder and Santino make even less sense. Eventually The Shield actually got over because they were impossible to beat. For some reason, WWE actually realized the old school logic of "if you make heels hard to beat, people will be emotionally invested in their matches" works. With that ridiculously simple booking logic, they were able to overcome the retarded booking that preceded it. But my mind still goes to that a lot as an example of WWE's shitty logic in writing storylines. This rant is probably a better fit for another thread but slik's post just lead me to the thought that WWE really needs to plan out what the fuck they're writing and putting on television before they write it. They really should write out stories as opposed to nightly events with the idea of "We'll book this to happen tonight and then we'll think of a reason tomorrow. Or we won't. Either way. Whatever." |

Also, I think after months and months of building them up as an unstoppable force their first loss was to The Usos and Christian on an episode of Smackdown. So they brought that to a hilariously retarded end, too. But that's a whole other topic.

I actually didn't hate this show.
* Roman Reigns only made me wince once during his promo. * Seth Rollins can talk. I wish they'd let him go more true to his persona in his promo. I think if he got talking points, he could really deliver. * Cesaro is god. * They covered up Becky Lynch even more. Worst. Decision. Ever. * I actually think that Ambrose might end up in the Survivor Series title match. What did Reigns do to earn his title shot? He won at Hell in a Cell and then beat Kevin Owens. Ambrose's match was scrapped at Hell in a Cell...and then he pinned Kevin Owens. They might just be setting up for an IC Title match, but I think they could segue Ambrose in there and create tensions between the two. * I think CyNick is actually right in Rollins finally growing balls. It's more to do with the erratic nature of the WWE's storytelling than an actually good story arc though. * Becky Lynch being covered up is the worst thing ever. |

Was genuinely surprised and pleased by how the Lucha Dragons/Barrett & Sheamus match went. I'm a Hunico mark, so I liked that he got to show what he can do here. Kalisto has got that "Wow!" factor that legitimately reminds me of Rey Mysterio. They have something in him, but shouldn't jam him down people's throats.
The Dragons got hyped beforehand, the match got time with multiple heat segments, and the faces earnt victory. I still have no idea what they are meant to represent as characters, but this was a definite start to rehabbing them. |

I like Ambrose but I like him much more in a long feud with Owens for the IC strap than a one off HW Title loss to Rollins.

Not really anything, I don't care about the divas division.
Just kinda rolling my eyes at the predictability of it all. Paige cut that promo a couple of weeks ago and I just knew she'd be the next contender, and magically she "overcame the odds" and won a fatal-four-way to be #1 contender. Regardless of the "divas revolution" going on, it still operates on a diva-of-the-month basis. |

This is a classic example of complaining about nothing. The girls had a nice 4 way. Made the title seem important. Challenger for the title looked strong. Paige and Charlotte have developed an issue, and we get to see that payoff fir the title. |

I think it's more logical booking than good. Good booking would be taking said pipe bomb and building to a match long term.Like Paige taking out the other divas she verbally eviscerated first, then taking out Charlotte. Putting her into the title picture straight away is the easiest yet least interesting option lost pipe bomb.

I posted this in the wrong place. Whoops.
Anyway, the RAW rating continues to drop, so they'll probably revert back to being terrible next week. |

Shield came in as heels. Dominated. Fans turned them babyface. They broke up. Have created three main event talents out of it. Only on the Internet could you find people who fault that booking and long term planning. |

Conor McGregor was calling out Jose Aldo long before he got a title shot. Do you think it's strange booking that they wound up paired up against each other? |
