Who should get cleaned this spring?
WWE has several workers who are more or less in the same position as CJ Parker, just hovering above nothing and going nowhere. Is it time to let some fellas go? For example, there will always be an upside to Jack Swagger, but not while he is floundering on WWE B level programming. Wouldn't it be more beneficial for him to try his hand around the country in some indies, maybe in Mexico or Japan? That way he could possibly gain whatever he is lacking to have a real future in WWE.
Ryder is a guy that could make this list but I would refrain for losing him. He still has potential if they would ever give him a chance, but seeing as that doesn't look very likely, perhaps he would have a better career and make more money working for all of the hot indie promotions out there right now. House of Hardcore as example. Who should be let go for the sake of their own future? And who should be let go and never come back? |

I think you should be fired from your job at the Lowe's parking lot for wishing that other people lose their jobs.

I don't think Adam Rose, Ascension, Rowan, Tye Dillinger, Heath Slater, some of the girls etc are too safe. Xavier Woods could leave, develop something of his own elsewhere and come back down the line/maybe benefit from it as long as he didn't go back to TNA, he's good, young, has a personality and is stuck in a black hole of a gimmick.

I was thinking the other day about how disposable almost everybody is to the WWE at the moment. I guess that's good for the company that wants itself to be over and dictate who are stars and who are not.

I'm not really sure, but I think the WWE needs to find a direction for a guy like Erik Rowan real soon real fast, otherwise he could be in real danger.

Who really is safe?
* Bad News Barrett * Big Show * Bray Wyatt * Cesaro * Damien Mizdow (for now) * Daniel Bryan * Darren Young (sadly only for the PR) * Dean Ambrose * Dolph Ziggler * Jey Uso * Jimmy Uso * John Cena * Kalisto * Kane * Luke Harper * The Miz * Randy Orton * Roman Reigns * Rusev * Seth Rollins * Sheamus * Stardust * Tyson Kidd (for now) I don't think any other male talent can really feel too secure in their job. I think most of the Divas are safe, besides maybe Layla and Emma. And Summer Rae and Cameron once the next season of Total Divas is done. And Alicia Fox is probably next on the chopping block after that. |

Eva Marie and Rosa Mendes. Only two that I can think of that have no real value being on the roster.
Heath Slater, Rowan, Adam Rose, Alex Riley, and Xavier Woods all seem like possible candidates. In Woods case it would be because he finished getting his phD degree. |

Swagger in ROH would be cool but I would like to see him stay in WWE. Ryder should go if they are not going to use him any. Adam Rose was doomed from the start with that gimmick, TNA might be a good place for him. Rowan just needs to go back with Harper and I think he will be ok.

Adam Rose, Rowan, PTP, the Ascension, Bo Dallas, and maybe Heath Slater will be gone as far as talent goes.

I really hope they try something with Rowan, and Heath Slater is far too good to be floundering about the cut list.

Luke Harper & Erick Rowan should be put back together under Bray Wyatt. Big E and Xavier Woods should get jealous of Kofi Kingston and turn on him, leading to Kofi and R-Truth getting back together. Tag teams.

I feel like Jack Swagger would be a good fit anywhere. He is unbelievably good in the ring and could get heat as a super-pro American heel or as a good old Oklahoma boy. The WWE is really shitting the bed with the guy.

There's always going to be a spot for Slater. He's an annoying heel who can still get decent heat and hardly ever has to win.

I dunno. I love Slater and he has crafted this nice little niche for himself, but I could very easily see the company being like "We don't want to pay you anymore."

The WWE's biggest problem is that they're too set in their ways. They should have realized "Wait a minute, Swagger is actually getting more cheers than we expected..." and pushed him as a serious face threat. |

Rusev would have been fine if he had put Swagger over more. In fact, if they had put the US Title on Swagger around, say, the Rumble, then Rusev's loss could have been the trigger for the Cena feud.

If you can't book a guy like Rusev to look like a dominant threat despite not being undefeated, you're doing it wrong.

I think kofi is done. 6 plus years on the roster and he's neveR been more expendable. It's too late to get him going again. Would be a shocker but I could see it.

Kofi, man that is one tough situation. If I were him and my contract was coming up, I'd take a look at the money. If he is banking in WWE then perhaps he should stay, but if not I would say he could be a huge indy draw. Imagine the kids that would flock to see him at indy events. His styles lends to every single promotion from Lucha Underground to TNA to NJPW to House of Hardcore to PWG to Evolve to ROH ... he really should go now that I think about it.

If there was a WCW-level company around, guys like Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler probably would have jumped ship by now. But they also probably would have been treated better from the start.

The more I think about Kofi Kingston, the more I think he is such a wasted talent. I'm not his biggest fan, but the dude has got fire and ring skill. His promos aren't the worst either. Looking at what Sami Zayn has achieved in NXT, it isn't too unreasonable to think that Kofi could do similar things on RAW and SmackDown.
I don't want to throw Ricky Steamboat's name around in any sort of blasphemous way, but Kofi Kingston really could be a top face in that vein. He's got this face aura about him. He comes up with all these innovative spots for Battle Royals and Ladder Matches, yet he's been told to have the same match for the past couple of years. Imagine what this guy could do if the same creativity he was expected to add to Battle Royals and such was requested for singles matches against heels he actually had a prgoram going with? |

I can see him being released in the same manner that Shelton Benjamin was released. They've given Kofi mid-card title after mid-card title, and you'd think his relative ability and overness would keep him safe -- but it's not guaranteed.
I'd say that the New Day break-up angle they are bound to do will give him new life, but I said the same thing about 3MB... |

Ever since they had Erick Rowan get the piss beaten out of him by Big Show at TLC&S I've assumed he was on the chopping block. Then a few weeks after that they had Bray Wyatt go over him on a random SmackDown with zero build behind it. Pretty clear WWE didn't see much in Rowan to just completely throw away what could have been saved for a short term program to culminate at a minor PPV or something.
The only thing that might keep Rowan afloat is if WWE still thinks there's potential to reunite the Wyatt Family at some point down the line. |

I can't believe they haven't reunited them already, to be honest. Harper has got potential on his own, but his character wouldn't need to change and they can still do singles stuff with him. I just don't know why you wouldn't have them all under the same umbrella.

But then again, I don't understand why they didn't win the Tag Titles last year either.

I'm reading up on Total Divas and apparently Cameron, Summer Rae and Rosa Mendes are not confirmed for Season 4? This cannot be good news for them. Cameron probably isn't too safe. She's had problems with the law, she's not really tied into anything on the main roster, and she's quite infamous for being shitty. Even if she does get good, it'll be hard to wash that stink away. Alicia Fox can basically do everything she can do better.
Rosa Mendes is working with Fandango, but let's be honest -- Fandango isn't really safe either. He's a solid worker with a good look, but he's had a nine year relationship with the WWE. They obviously see something in him, but everything he's ever had going on has cooled off. I'd use him, but I can see him and Rosa getting the slip together -- especially since Rosa has also been with the company nine years now and is 35 years old (!). There were rumors years ago that Layla was going to be finishing up in the ring. She has never been put forward for Total Divas. You'd think Summer Rae would be safe, since she has the look the WWE has, and they have tried to do things with her, but I can't see the company being too invested in her, given that they aren't using her. They probably see her type as someone quite replaceable. And sorry, Emma -- she's one of my favorites, but the signing of KC Cassidy -- fellow Australian and also trained by Lance Storm to boot. Emma's best chance of sticking around is if they just want to keep her as a solid hand to put over new girls or if this heel thing in NXT really takes off. But I wouldn't be surprised if they finish her up. Just being pessimistic. |

Oh yeah Fandango....At this point you gotta think hes gone too. The character got its 15 minutes and sadly a good performer is going down with the ship. He will go to TNA and make it huge....as far as TNA goes
