Teaming Slater with Rose would just destroy Slater.

Rose isn't going to be around for that to happen, at least his gimmick. It's fucking stupid
Slater was pretty damn awesome in Nexus and he gets it, I hope he enjoys his newborn and gets repackaged |

Heath Slater defeats Ryback, Kofi Kingston and Rob Van Dam in a fatal 4 way to become the #1 contender for the United States title. He goes on to defeat Sheamus with a roll up and win his inaugural singles title. Sheamus gets pissed off and destroys Heath Slater. Instant heel turn for Sheamus and Heath Slater gets a solid baby face push.

Still cant believe it's over. Figured they'd have spots for life: you can job the shit out of them but they still get heat, especially Slater.

Khali can replace Mahal as the curry Indian. Big Show can do his fat bastard Scottish impression to replace McIntyre. It's the same thing basically. 3MB V2.0

I would love it if at Raw on Monday, there's a huge 3MB chant.
When Slater is in the ring would be good, but mostly if it's during a big match/promo. |

I may watch Raw just to see what happens if Slater is on. Come douchebags smarks, sabotage Raw with 3MB chants. I won't even bitch about it.

Imagine Slater doing a knock-off American Idol/X Factor type deal trying to find new bandmates.

It's a shame that McIntyre and Mahal are gone, but they are both really young and could earn spots with the company again in the future. New Japan seems like a good place for both of them.
I'm really interested to see what Heath Slater does now. I like Slater more than most, and I agree that he "gets it." The dude can do some pretty cool high-flying stuff, but doesn't unless it makes sense within the context of a match. His "stupid hick" vibe could easily be used to get heat or even as a way of endearing him to audiences. The WWE clearly have plans for Slater, or else they wouldn't have kept him around. Personally, I'd insert him into the budding storyline between Big E, Jack Swagger and Rusev. Let them have a Fatal 4-Way at Money in the Bank, and screw it, even put Slater over when he capitalizes on some chaos and hits the Smash Hit on Swagger or something. Down the track, if a singles thing isn't working out for him, you can always put him back with Justin Gabriel. It's been long enough that people have forgotten that when these guys were Tag Team Champions the division was pretty much dead. They also have more distinct personalities and aren't "faction buddies" any more. They could have a pretty funny dynamic. |
