50 foot wave releases online EP Free
Kristin Hersch, formerly of the Throwing Muses, and her new band 50 Foot Wave (Remember the guys who got yelled at after the Tsunami) have released an online EP for free (though their site accepts donations through Paypal). I haven't heard it yet, but the music I've heard is pretty much in keeping with the other Boston rockers of the period: Belly, the Pixies, Throwing Muses...There are a couple staple acts I'm missing, but still.
