Apparently the PS3 patch is for the download only so when you buy it..it just "unlocks" it.

Awesome. I'm gonna pick this up Wed.
Still thinking PS3 so I can just copy MP3s in for custom themes instead of burning a disc for Xbox. Dunno. |

Don't like how you can't edit superstars outside of Universe mode, in terms of brand and crowd reaction.

My game is giving A-Ry a HUGE push. I threw him and Del Rio into a random CPU match, I figured Del Rio would destroy him. Riley wound up winning. So the next week I was planning on having a 6-man battle royal for #1 contendership at the Royal Rumble. I figured I'd do a CPU re-match in which I imagined Del Rio boasting that if Riley can beat him, he'll get his battle royal spot. And it happened.
So then the CPU battle royal comes up. Riley, Cena, Nash, Miz, Truth, Dolph. And yep, you guess it...Riley WINS! Last eliminating Nash. Punk/Riley at the Rumble, kinda has that old school vibe where unlikely guys will get the title shots at the Rumble to save the bigger names for the Rumble match. Love it when it creates storylines for me. |

The game-generated storylines are certainly wonky. It kept wanting me to play Santino vs. Kevin Nash and when I finally did, Kozlov ran out early on, turned on Santino, and Nash won instantly. This despite the fact that Kozlov is a free agent. Similarly, they keep wanting me to play the Road Warriors vs. Kofi Kingston and Michael McGillicutty for some reason even though the Road Warriors aren't currently being used. It's obvious there are just some pre-set stories going on irregardless of brand. It's not a big deal because I prefer to pick my own matches anyway rather than be at the mercy of Match Flow. |

What's that you say? The WWE game's server is terrible? What a fucking surprise.

Still trying to work out why HHH and Cody from the 4 horseman on another brand came out to celebrate with CM Punk when he beat Leasner for the title.
They're on different brands and have never interacted once. |

I've not got the game yet. My brother buys the WWE games so I'll just use his. I'm excited to try out Create an Entrance Movie and Arena.
We need a TPWW Arena. I'd do it when I get my hands on the game but it would require using paint tool to make the TPWW Logo for the ring mat and I'm no good at that. Wouldn't mind downloading a Xero, Kalyx, Roxer etc themed arena. I'll probably making a "Drakul" themed one. Could you use CAA in the Story Creator mode? |

I'd just draw a cock in the middle of the ring on mine.
But you can use CAA in the CAS, I think it's a limited number of different CAA's though. I'd wait until the bugs are ironed out in the story mode though. That mode is the worst. |

So are all the bugs a big factor in this? Comes out on Friday here and I'm a bit skint so I'm not really sure if I still want to buy this brand new if it's flawed.

Dunno, I keep saying "fuck this" then reverse suplex someone from the apron to the outside and hit them on some vertically upright steel steps and go that's cool and play some more.
Universe just seems worse than before though. Like they've added a few preset stories in terms of "remarkable matches" but the rest is now more random and pointless than before. |

Hmm, I will probably just wait a few months to get it I think. I was like this for last years game too, really excited from reading the thread here, but didn't end up getting that until this summer and wasn't too bothered about missing out on getting it sooner.

Damn, that's reminded me of a story I was going to make called "Drew McIntyre: Monster Hunter" where Drew would come up against a bunch of caw demons and ghouls on a weekly basis.

I am still annoyed that a CAW I made for the story kept being booked on Raw despite not being on an active roster and even joined one of my stables.

Yeah, bar a couple of rare issues, RTWM is pretty glitch free.
The crowd lag is because it's a video file that's streaming as it loads, it's basically a glorified loading screen and one that I appreciate. |

You can't turn it off. The way to win it is to smash triangle, square, x and circle as fast as possible.
Just read that the DX entrance is glitched. Just plays the full screen tron instead of flicking back and forth. |

Oh yeah, and that random celebration thing happened with me too. Awesome Truth from Raw came out to celebrate with Mark Henry from SmackDown after his successful title defense at the Rumble against Orton. Seems like they just have a random heel team come out to celebrate. Definitely a bug, but nothing that can't be ignored.
I've only done one actual match in RTWM, and I struggled my way through it before winning in a bit of a fluke. I jobbed twice in the next one before heading back to Universe. Game is way harder this year, which I enjoy. |

As do I. I'm having a blast getting my ass handed to me from the submissions which has taken a couple hours to get used to but I should be fine now.

Can't help but feel like they've fucked up the Rumble to a degree. While the ability to break up eliminations was a nice touch...the CPU just totally overdoes it. They break up eliminations far more often than they actually double team, which means the Rumble gets to be extremely tedious. If you don't have an even amount of people in the ring, the "odd man out" will always fuck up eliminations. If Rumble finishers hadn't seemingly been removed, this wouldn't be as big of a deal.
A lot of people had requested longer Rumbles...guess this was their solution to that. |

Rumble finishers are there, both leaning against the ropes and apron versions.

Yeah, finally saw a couple. They just happen far less frequently it seems. Dolph Ziggler finally loses the US Title to Zack Ryder in the opening match at the Rumble...but then goes on to win the Rumble match itself. Moving on to bigger and better things.
