Over a year after the last post and some 8-9 months after the scoring period finished, since which the latest Pink Slip Pool has been summoned into action, I'll have the results of this in a minute. Yes, my night has been shuffled around to the point that it became completely and utterly uneventful so I figured I'd tally this up. Nearly done.

Okay, the list of everybody named on lists that was eligible to score via leaving WWE under the terms stipulated in the first post (in chronological order from the day they were released)
Tommy Dreamer (4th January 2010) DJ Gabriel (8th January 2010) The Hurricane (26th February 2010) Paul Burchill (26th February 2010) Charlie Haas (28th February 2010) Jimmy Yang (22nd April 2010) Sho Funaki (22nd April 2010) Katie Lea (22nd April 2010) Jesse/Slam Master J (22nd April 2010) Mike Knox (23rd April 2010) Tony Atlas (30th April 2010) Carlito (21st May 2010) Batista (24th May 2010) (Jim Duggan was released at some point during the 'eligible timeframe' only I can't find a date on it. Admittedly I didn't look very hard) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Batista was the MVP of the whole game, being the only Kirk Angel bonus scorer for being a former WWE/World Heavyweight champion, the Bathturd bonus for appearing in a PPV main event in the 6 months before his departure and the Last Man Standing bonus for being the final release of all the eligible guys. mike adamle was also the only poster to include Batista on his list which resulted in bonus points for him. *Tommy Dreamer and Batista are the only Layfield Energy bonus scorers, Batista being WWE champion until as recently as WrestleMania XXVI and Tommy Dreamer just squeaking in with his ECW title reign falling just inside the previous 6 months before his release. Dreamer also scored the First Blood bonus for being the first of the eligible group released. *Carlito was the only wrestler to 'score' the Masterpiece bonus for being released due to the Wellness Policy. He only made a small amount of lists however. *Droford picked The Miz, Stealth-Icon picked Cody Rhodes and jamesdiesel plumped for Sheamus. A surprising amount of people went for R-Truth and even more for Rey Mysterio. Ted DiBiase, Jack Swagger, Santino Marella and Chavo Guerrero were other surprising picks. Tyler Reks meanwhile appears to have surprised everybody, appearing on most lists but still being employed even now. Same goes for Curt Hawkins and Primo Colon. *There were a lot of releases that fell outside of the scoring period including Luke Gallows (who was on just about every list) Jillian Hall, Shad Gaspard and more. With a bit of work on the bonuses to make the rewards mean more and doing it on time, this could have been alright. PEACE |

I would like to hire Mr. Chandler "Syphilis is my middle name" Lee to provide his expert analysis when the present season of WWE Pink Slip Pool concludes.
