So everytime im download something . My internet just kind of shuts down for a few mins . Then is really slow until the down load is done. The download isnt affected. I know websites are suppose to be slower when u are downloading . but shutting down completely while the download is still working doesnt make sense to me . any help is appreciated . i have an alienware duo core processor and windows 7

This happens. Especially if you're using torrents. You can deal with it or slow down the download.

What are you downloading? If its torrents, the download speed should actually be about 80-85% of your full speed.
