I bet S.H.I.E.L.D. in this movie will feel and be ten times cooler than S.H.I.E.L.D. on the tv show.

A bigger budget does that.
But the show taught us a lot more about SHIELD. We know about the two main training centers (Ops and Tech). We know they've been tracking 'supers' for decades. We know they have a thing for vertical take off vehicles. So on and so forth. |

They showed his face in the trailer, didn't they? I think the secret's out at this point.

They released a hi-res shot of his bare face officially on the Marvel website.
Winter Soldier is Bucky Barnes. Moving on. And I dig that they're more protective of how things play out than the villain identity of one of the biggest comic arcs of modern Marvel. |

The spy thriller feel of the books is captured really well, going off these trailers. Still nothing of Crossbones though. Wonder if he's just a really minor villain who was given the name simply as a nod.

I think I will refrain from watching that one. 4 minutes is too much for me.

Any word on how Rumlow transforms into Crossbones?
I can see him in the trailer as one of the SHIELD agents, but no shots of him as a villain or anything. |

Sebastian Stan (Bucky/Winter Soldier) is in fact signed for 9 MCU movies, counting this one. Chris Evans has three more appearances (Avengers 2, 3, and Cap 3 - going up against Batman/Superman!). Fans of comic history may well piece future events together.
Anyway, Cap 2 premiered on the red carpet. Be on spoiler alert from here on out, because some people have kindly tweeted from screenings that some heavy MCU altering shit goes down. Ye be warned. |

Saw this film this morning! As always with Marvel movies, I loved it! Chris Evans is fantastic as Steve Rogers. Not gonna go too much into stuff until others have seen it, but all-in-all I loved it. As usual, there's two scenes at the end, one during the credits and one at the end. Dr. Strange was name-dropped as well. Guess he's "part of" the universe now, setting things up for his movie during Phase 3.
Post credit scene spoilers: SPOILER: show |

Going to see it tomorrow. Heard very good things so far. Rewatched the first Captain America last night and its still my least favourite of the Avengers films. Not too much to do with the storytelling, I'm just not into war-based films in general and Steve Rogers is comfortably the biggest winnet out of all the major marvel characters. Hopefully be good though.

Saw it just before. Was good. Much better than the first. Still much prefer the fantasy side of the marvel universe like Thor than the government conspiracy side of things presented here tho. Really good addition to the bunch.

I never stayed to see the end-credit scenes as I really needed the loo and had to get to the next showing of Veronica Mars. Somebody (in spoilers) tell me what happens in the two end scenes.

Saw this movie Last Night...I love the day before 8PM showings. You don't HAVE to see it in 3D, but I did. This movie taught me one very important thing.
Captain America movies NEEDS supporting characters/heroes. This movie is a fucking home run. This was the Captain America movie we wanted to see. This movie also accomplished one very important feat: It made watching the first one important without making it necessary. |

I can't stop thinking about this movie- watching this weeks episode of AOS just now isn't helping.
1) Winter Solider 2) Avengers 3) Iron Man 1 I think that's my top 3 Marvel as of now. This movie seems like it's more fun to rewatch plus the better more developed plot helps. |
