Feeling like Wrestlmania 31 is going to blow your minds.
With a lot of you hating on Mania this year I have a feeling that you are going to be suprised by the show. I myself think it will be a great show and like all the matches. Now I know most of you don't feel the same way but why not? Is it becauseyou don't like Reigns, like Daniel Bryan to much, or some other reason. I myself am looking forward to WM31 as last year I felt WM was shitty. Anyone else looking forward to Mania.

I've only watched snippets of Raw and haven't read any internet wrestling news so I have no idea what the "plan" is.

I'm actually eager to see how the main event works out. So far, they've been stubborn in their presentation and direction of Roman. But, could they double turn the main event and make Roman the top heel while also making him the man?

Ladder match has the best chance at match of the night.

I'm actually thinking Cena winning the U.S. title could be the best thing to happen to that championship in ever. He's their biggest, most accomplished star. When people beat Cena, title or not, it's a big fucking deal. Putting a second rate title on the guy, and having him eventually drop it to an up and coming mid carder could do wonders for that guy. Might be the best direction they've given Cena in ages.

The women's match, if given time, should be a solid showing. To her credit, Nikki has grown leaps and bounds.

Sting and HHH might be good, might be great. Think it comes down to how good Sting can be and the pacing of the match. Hopefully Sting is in decent shape.

Battle royal is what it is.

If it isnt a complete pile of shit yes. If pretty much every match is a swerve and goes the opposite of the way we think theyre going ill be happy but unless Rollins walks out the champion with the authority holding him high we're destined for months and months of shitty promos out reigns where he comes out at says 'I said i could and i did' which will be the cause of my suicide. Cena needs his spine broken by Rusev, Bryan can win the belt and go on to make it mean something, rollins vs orton? i dont care. I dont want to hate on it because at the end of the day its wrestling and i love wrestling but shit man i feel like theyre trying to make me hate them.

Meh. I don't think it will be awful as a show. I'm interested to see how they handle Lesnar/Reigns and if they add in some kind of element to make it more interesting than Reigns just getting the clean win and walking out champ.

Wyatt vs Taker should be interesting. I love the build and love the idea that the first time we see the two of them face to face will be at the match. That's gonna make it feel more special.

Cena vs Rusev should be good. Have a feeling Cena is gonna win and the more I think about it, the more I'm okay with that. People will complain that Rusev's unpinned/submitted streak should be used to put someone else over but really, Rusev should be the one looking strong. Cena is the one guy you can lose to and not take much of a hit to your credibility.

Triple H vs Sting is what it is. Not gonna be great but it's a nostalgia match/huge moment for old school wrestling fans.

Big fan of battle royals and multi-man ladder matches so those will be fun.

The more I think of it, the card is pretty stacked. Not being a fan of Reigns takes away from the "monumental" feel that WrestleMania should always have but it's a consistently good card from top to bottom.

Oh yeah. Also, there's some chick wrestling or whatever.

I think it could be a sleeper hit, but I always say that about a WrestleMania. WrestleMania XXX blew me away, but then I remember that WrestleMania 29 did not.

* The Tag Team Title match, which honestly probably won't even make the card, could be fun. Cesaro & Kidd are two of the best wrestlers in the world. Kofi Kingston should be a bigger star than he is, and Diego is probably the most underused talent the WWE has. Well, it's up there with Jack Swagger and Fandango at the moment. The Usos might be out, but that might actually make this more of a surprise classic with the outcome it is meant to have -- Cesaro & Kidd establishing themselves as the team to beat.

* The Battle Royal could be about as fun as any Battle Royal. I'm hoping for a few surprises as far as guest entrants go. I'm also hoping for a surprising winner -- someone who could take the win and really run with it. A lot of people are expecting Sheamus, Ryback or Sandow to win this thing. I really don't think any of them need it. Have it won by someone like Jack Swagger. Hey, at least then we can have two Andre Battle Royal winners that the company has no idea how to book. Or bring in someone like Matt Morgan or Samoa Joe to win it. Or have Bo Dallas inspire us all with a victory.

* The Divas tag will feature the girls doing what they can to get noticed, I guess. I've got to be honest -- I haven't been too into AJ Lee lately. As a face, I feel she would be best going against The Authority. Otherwise, I like her more as an over-talented heel. I feel they botched the Paige/AJ dynamic last year. You know -- that "fuck NXT" shit. They might get time, and you know what, there might be some developments coming out of this.

* The Ladder Match will be crazy, everyone will bust their ass, and the crowd will have fun. It doesn't matter who wins, because the WWE has made it irrelevant at the same time as making the title seem to be one of the most contested and interesting. It reminds me of the Hardcore Title right now, which I'm not exactly sure is a good thing. Time to stop playing off the title's history and starting making some more history. I hope that whoever wins it sells it like it was the true main event for them.

* Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins will probably be the best 1-on-1 match of the night, and a bit of a classic. I'm thinking sort of like Orton vs. Punk at whatever WrestleMania that was. The crowd will be interesting, as Orton is a hot face, but also the old guard. Could actually see some wonky fan participation. They should at least pop for the RKO Outta Nowhere though. Given the lack of interest Reigns has been generating, a double-turn here is actually possible, with it being completed with a Rollins cash-in. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

* Cena vs. Rusev was good at Fast Lane. Don't know if I really want to see them fight again, but it makes sense booking-wise. I thought they would go with a Submission stip or have Cena put his career on the line, but I guess they want to create the illusion that Rusev might win. I'm actually hoping Cena does, as it would greatly help the US Title, but I can understand why people are voting for Rusev.

* Triple H vs. Sting will be smartly worked at the very least. Well, you'd think so. There have been times where Triple H is a genius and times where he does think that make you think "What the fuck?" I think they'll be clever here.

* Wyatt vs. Taker hasn't built high expectations in the ring for me, but that might lead to it being my biggest surprise. Wyatt will no doubt BUST HIS ASS to make this work, and Taker knows what he is doing by now. This will probably be a match people will remember for a while.

* Brock vs. Roman will be spectacular just for the crowd participation. I CANNOT see them flocking to Roman's cause, no matter how much the company lets Roman do his own thing in the coming weeks. The more general audiences accept him, the more it will just piss those most hardcore fans off. They're at the point of irrationally booing Roman now, and there are even good reasons to boo. But will they cheer Lesnar? Will they cheer for Heyman the entire match? Will they chant for Bryan? Will they chant for Lana? Will they even walk out?Who the fuck knows? This isn't the good sort of excited that the WWE wants, but it's going to be a train wreck of some sort. I'm not even sure if those guys will have a good match. Best creative result is probably to have Heyman screw Lesnar for some reason, and for Reigns to slay The Beast. Reigns will probably just win cleanly.

I really want Heyman to screw Lesnar an align with Reigns, turning him heel in the process making Reigns the new unstoppable beast with the mad genius in his corner. They could easily justify it by having Heyman say he was personally offended that Brock was talking about leaving so he did what was best for himself and aligned himself with the FUTURE instead of letting Lesnar decide his fate. "You may decide to never show your face here again, but you will not take my legacy with you when you go."

Oh, it'll be a decent show I'm sure. There's just no emotional connection for me and I just don't actually care about any of the matches or their outcomes, and that's the only reason I watch wrestling these days. If the storyline isn't good then I can't get into it, period, and unfortunately this year's story is just shit. I'll probably catch a replay stream eventually but I've got no plans to watch live since I haven't even been watching RAW and Smackdown regularly for about a month now.

Managers aren't just for guys who can't talk. A Rollins/Heyman pairing would be interesting, but a Heyman/Rollins feud could be even more interesting. I'm definitely thinking that they should do the heel thing with Roman Reigns. Imagine a face Brock coming for him. Holy shit.

Imagine if Brock beat Reigns to win back the title, but then Heyman helped Rollins cash in and then also aligned himself with Seth Rollins. The idea of Rollins and Reigns still hating each other, but both being Heyman Guys seems like something a good booker could get some mileage out of.

I feel like the 'Mania is gonna have a mind-blowing number of "Fuck You" moments.

*The Tag Title has already been bumped to the Pre-Show, from what I've heard. They'll likely add the Ascension Monday, out of nowhere, and they win with their shitty finisher.

* Mark my words: The last 4 of the Battle Royal will be Sheamus, Henry, Kane, and Show.

* The Divas tag will be the piss break match and the Bellas will win a squash. You think the Royal Rumble finish was dumb? I see Nikki submitting A.J. with an arm wringer, because Fuck You.

* As I posted in another thread, I wouldn't be shocked if they dropped the IC Ladder Match from the card completely so that Reigns-Lesnar, Sting-H, and the LL Cool J product plug get "enough time."

* Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins could be a fine match. I just expect WWE giving the fans "something to be happy about" by having Orton squash Rollins for 10 minutes straight, completely burying him in the process.

* Cena is getting his win back and will unify the US Title with the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Money in the Bank. Rusev's girlfriend is getting released soon and he'll be a goofy face until he's wished well in his future endeavors.

* Triple H vs. Sting will be treated as much more important than it needs to be. It will be given more time than it needs. Will be paced way more slowly that it needs to be. Triple H blows up first. And still wins.

* Spoiler: Taker Wins. Wyatt starts feuding with R-Truth next month.

* Brock vs. Reigns will be a train wreck that no one wants to watch. Not even Heyman will be able to save it. Reigns will overcome the odds. And I don't believe that the crowd will even care by this point. I don't believe the crickets will even care by this point.

Many people are being overly optimistic here. I may be overly pessimistic, but I have no doubt that, at this point, Vince is so out of the loop, he would go out of his way to openly troll the people who paid actual money to see this. And will walk away thinking that he's doing the right thing.

The more I think about it, the more I think the main event could be something truly amazing to witness. I wonder what will be chanted. Still, I think one of the most daring statements fans could make is walking out of the show as Reigns makes his entrance.
