Jeff Hardy argued with EC3 about whether chairs were legal in this match and then they got into a fight and Jeff gave EC3 a twist of fate. Matt Hardy then hit his finisher on Drew Galloway and pinned him.

I think they will probably nullify it because of Meth Hardy's cheating. Whenever they have a tv show that isn't thrown together from stock matches. Never.

I guess they couldn't really do much because they have chased away any of their talent with any real association with the company, but I'll give my analysis anyway:
* When it comes to the Ultimate-X Match, I really wish they had just done something simple like a singles bout between Tigre Uno and Trevor Lee, possibly with Lee winning the title in his homestate. Manik has no real traction as a character, Zema Ion's potential was pissed away when he didn't become a glorious heel after breaking Jesse Sorensen's neck, so it only really leaves Tigre Uno and Andrew Everett as guys worth going with. I've never been sold on Everett, but he seems to have good will. A title change here would have freshened up the scene, since Tigre Uno just...hasn't popped. * Shane Helms coming out to present Tigre Uno with the title is actually interesting. I like Helms and think he could add something as a sort of "smarter veteran" in the division. I would have liked to have seen him come in after a Tigre Uno vs. Everett program. * The whole main event situation is really fucking stupid. The whole angle with Jeff Hardy is really fucking stupid. BUT...going forward with it, I could accept EC3 vs. Drew Galloway with Jeff Hardy at ringside, with no real bias towards Galloway, but a lot of reason to hate EC3. Hardy could face Tyrus in a one-on-one match, which wouldn't have been thrilling, but if you want to get him over as a monster, then you might as well throw him someone that some people in North Carolina still like. * The Gauntlet sounds really fucking stupid. How about running Angle vs. Anderson with the winner getting Eric Young or something? It'd have been really Russorific, but you could have had Angle beat Anderson, then have Ken take the loss personally and screw Angle out later. Since there are like no tag teams left in TNA, a Young/Anderson heel jerk duo would have at least given The Wolves someone to work with post-Myers/Lee. * Got no interest in seeing Tyrus challenge for the World Title. It's my proposed Matt Hardy vs. Tyrus match...only now it's actually the fucking main event. * I'm not sure if I get why Myers and Lee are a tag team. Is there a reason? Without knowing that, it's hard to really work out ways forward for them. They already won the titles as part of the GFW thing, so there's not really much point in putting it back on them. Man, I bet TNA really wished they hadn't of run off Bad Influence. At least they still have The Hardys...wait, Matt's the fucking World Champion now. I guess I would have had The Wolves retain here and Lee try to show The Wolves some respect, but Myers taking some offence to it, then turning on Lee in India or wherever they are taping next. Myers can then put over Lee and we can segue Lee into the role where he takes the X-Division Title off heel veteran Shane Helms -- who takes it off Andrew Everett. Make sense? * I'm not sure why Roode is holding the secondary title, or what Bobby Lashley would get out of winning it. These two should really be buzzing around the main event for when Galloway wins the title in my perfect world (spoilers). I guess Roode winning here was the right call, because I have know clue how Lashley is meant to put this title over, but ugh. At least Roode all-out cheating would have cemented a heel turn, and given Lashley a reason to more doggedly pursue the title. * I would have put the Women's Title on Kong if she were healthy, but apparently she's got a shitty back. Kim winning would have made sense if they made it look plucky. I'd have had The Dollhouse beat Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne & Brooke Tessmacher earlier in the night too. It's a shame Rebel joined The Dollhouse, because I would have had her eventually end up with Brooke as "The Best Asses in Wrestling." I know it's tawdry, but they do have great asses. The Dollhouse could have then beat up Kim after the match, and Kong could have made the save to show her respect for Kim. Or something. * I'm not sure if Young vs. Angle was the right choice on its own. I know Young did hurt Angle, but they did do the publicized house show match. I'd have gone with Angle vs. Anderson with the winner getting Young (another chance for revenge for Angle), and then used that to springboard onto super-dicks Anderson & Young running Angle out of the company. * If the match between EC3 and Drew Galloway had still gone ahead, then putting Galloway over might have made sense. He's really all you've got in some senses, plus he's British -- and that is a market that TNA are trying to play to and might be crucial to their survival. Maybe an angle where Rockstar Spud helps cancel out Tyrus, Jeff finally snaps, Galloway wins the title and then promises Jeff a title shot. Galloway handedly defeats Jeffrey Nero, beats Spud, defeats Tiger Raj Singh in India -- shaking hands with his former band mate, and basically builds his run up as a capable and fair champion. Meanwhile, EC3 blames The Hardys for ruining his life and goes after them with Tyrus. * Oh, I just realized they could have gone with Rockstar Spud being the guy to win the X-Division Title off Tigre Uno and working with Shane Helms. Hmm, whatever. Maybe Rockstar Spud plays buddy-buddy with Drew Galloway so he can earn another title shot? Hmm, whatever. Going forward, this is what you could have probably had going: -Drew Galloway (c) vs. Rockstar Spud for the World Title *cough* -The Wolves (c) vs. Ken Anderson & Eric Young for the Tag Titles -Gail Kim (c) & Awesome Kong vs. The Dollhouse in the Women's Title scene -Bobby Roode (c) vs. Bobby Lashley in an intensified feud over the King of the Hill Fox News Championship -The Dollhouse vs. The Beautiful People vs. The Best Asses in Wrestling in an extra women's program -Shane Helms vs. Andrew Everett for the X-Division Title -The Hardys vs. EC3 & Tyrus Fuck. Close this shit up. |

this company is so bad. like I just laugh my ass off at reading TNA recaps at this point. I would love to know what they were smoking when they decided that Matt fucking Hardy should be a World Champion in 2015.
I mean jesus...when was the last time Matt could have even been a believable World Champion in WWE when the had two belts (I don't count WWECW)? Maybe 2009 when he had his super serious turn against Jeff and then went over him at WM25? christ |

I remember back in 2010, Matt Hardy and Christian almost seemed to be working towards something with each other around SummerSlam of that year. That could have potentially been a springboard for them to gain some traction together. I wasn't sure if they were going to end up fighting each other or becoming a tag team, but I remember it being somewhat interesting...if not interesting enough to actually get it anywhere near the actual SummerSlam card.

His dancing looks fucking stupid (sorry if there's some cultural significance to it), but I don't understand why they didn't go with Mahabali Shera in the Gauntlet if they are going to go over to India to do their next (and possibly last) set of tapings.
