You will also only see about 10% of the streak if lucky, that streak magically jumps 5-10 numbers after each house show.

Okay im too lazy to google it, but will the network let me watch Raw and Smackdown live? I don't have cable cuz I don't wanna pay for 800 channels of stuff I don't watch, just to watch WWE and TNA.
If it gets me Raw and Smackdown, then they have my money! |

So how will this effect "PPV" buy rates and seeing what sells?

The brand is what sells now. Buyrates aren't going away for idiots without computers or mobile phones. The cable box will still be able to get PPVs. Determining what sells is somewhat archaic nowadays unless you are talking about direct character merchandise.

Some people will still buy it not because they are idiots, but because they don't want their feed to buffer and straight up stop at key moments. Occasions where friends get together and help pay for the show and businesses like bars that buy them will still be in effect until streaming is more accepted.

The buy rates in theory should be a lot higher but the Network's side would need around 3-4 times more subscribers watching to make up the money difference. |

The thought of a "Sky Sports WWE" channel like Sky Sports F1 has entered my head before, but I thought it would never happen. It'll be interesting to see what does happen though. Hopefully the WWE don't mess it up, where we in the UK get some really bad deal out of it all. |

don't see why it would change too much if it doesn't in the US. We get RAW live/at the same time and Smackdown before the US so no losing any more of the viewers of those shows to the Network and they can still carry the PPV's just like US PPV carriers will. I see it affecting the RAW replay which could be bumped to a Tuesday evening to attempt to counteract the Network replay. I think a lot of people will choose convenience (aka changing the channel) over loading up whatever device and the app. PPV is a different story worldwide, surely those willing to pay for PPV's will instead subscribe to the network.

Streaming isn't really an option for me, my internet is wank, so Sky suits me, but I can't see it affecting piracy here if we're still expected to pay for PPVs on top of the subscription if you can get it online for tuppence.

I can't afford Sky. £9.99 a month for the Network I could do, £30-50 a month for a Sky package will leave me illegally streaming.

Anyone who complains about 10 bucks a month yet can afford to get drunk or high all the time needs a kick in the balls. If you do nothing but watch the shitty PPVs its Ten fucking dollars a PPV.
