Apparently the dirt sheets are reporting that the WWE doesn't see Ambrose as a huge star. Yeah, that's why he was at one point the main singles focus of The Shield and arguable front-man for the group, got to work one-on-one with The Undertaker, continues to be a featured attraction and just got to close RAW in its main event segment, possibly setting up a Hell in a Cell match with Seth Rollins at the PPV with that namesake.

I'll be honest that I can't see Ambrose winning the Royal Rumble next year or anything, but he's got a natural charm, charisma and edge that make him a "star" for the company.

I just found out that a college friend of mine dated Dean Ambrose before he got into WWE. She probably should have held on just a bit longer.

He is over and hot right now....let him leave for a bit and hopefully the "AUTHORITY" angle can keep going. the Ideal come back would be showing up at the end of a raw to attack the newly Crowned Corporate Champion Seth Rollins who is celebrating in the ring with HHH and Steph and Kane. he shows up, cleans house, cash check print money, SCSA 2.0

^ for what it's worth, I see Ambrose as FAR more credible in the "going against the Authority" role than Daniel Bryan

Ambrose is excellent. Back when he was in development I honestly thought he could be a force in the main event based solely on how unbelievable his heel promos were. I had never seen him work face anywhere, so seeing how great he is at that just strengthens my belief. The crowd love him now but even when the day comes for him to turn there is unlimited potential there.
Not sure he'll ever be "the face of the company" or anything but he should be a top guy for a long while just because he can talk like nobody's business. |

Yes. Ambrose and Punk (and Heyman, though he's not a wrestler) are the only people I can take convincingly on the mic in the past few years or so. Everyone else just feels like "a wrestler saying things that a wrestler should", they don't really transcend the basic tropes of the industry and make a convincing character. Just operating on a whole other level from their peers. I suppose Bray Wyatt is kinda the same for me as well. Love when "characters" feel real instead of just whatever gimmick they're trying to put over

Ambrose is also one of the only guys to actually threaten someone on WWE

I enjoy Seth Rollins on the mic too. I find that he's one of the best at "promoting" on the mic. He sells what his intentions are and carries an air of confidence in himself. Rollins believes everything he is saying. Sounds like a real guy.

Ambrose's stuff with William Regal in FCW was fantastic. And his matches with Seth Rollins were glorious too.

Bray Wyatt is cool just because he's unique, and talented enough to pull it off. |

Love Ambrose. He's become one of my new favorites.
BUT The no selling has reached kind of ridiculous levels. |
