**POSSIBLE SPOILER** Possible Major return at Survivor Series?
Sting!
I'll believe it when I see it. But let's speculate; how and in what guise would this actually happen? There were rumours he was supposed to be the new GM but I can't see that working. Maybe the authority will win and declare themselves in total control and that nobody can stop them. The lights go out and Sting drops down from the rafters and wipes out the Authority with his baseball bat.....except Triple H whom he simply just points the bat too as he scurries to the back? Thus building up a feud between Sting and Triple H all the way to WM where the winner gets complete control of the WWE? Then again... Last edited by Tazz Dan; 11-22-2014 at 04:01 AM. |

Sting came down from the roof a few times after Owen in fact on nirto only a few weeks later?
Didn't HBK do something similar for WM 25? Anyway doesn't matter how he makes his entrance, I'm just wondering what we should expect and how it will tie into the storyline as I assume he will be connected to the main event. If he is set to appear then it will almost certainly "close" the show. |

Also, yeah. Sting would have to close the show if he does appear.

I personally hope that the Authority storyline doesn't end on Sunday. I would so want it to be the Sting v Authority storyline up to WM31 like a throwback to the old WCW v NWO storyline.
If it was really to be the "end of the Authority" you would think Triple H himself would play some kind of a key role i.e. one of the competitors in the match itself. Imagine Sting v Triple H to close out WM 31 and Sting winning and thus ending the Authority's reign of terror once and for all? Survivor Series just isn't the setting for such a major storyline to reach its climax and Cena has had more than enough "moments" to last a lifetime. |

But team Authority has 6 guys, to Cenas 5. Orton or Sting could be the last guy

Triple H himself isn't involved in the match hence why I don't think it will "end" on Sunday. For it to end the main figurehead needs to be taken out i.e.Triple H much like how Daniel Bryan had to beat Triple H and then Orton and Batista to win the title. Besides given Undertaker can no longer wrestle his way out of a wet paper bag without getting concussed, and the idea of Cena v Sting would just stink the whole place out, Triple H v Sting is the only credible option. |

I don't think Cesaro is advertised to be in the match is he? I think the the idea was to confuse Cena on Raw, and for him to show his support to The Authority. They didn't show him on the graphic on Smackdown as being part of the team.
I could be wrong though. |

Like I said for a storyline as major as this and let's be honest it probably is one of the "bigger" if not "biggest" WWE storylines in the past decade (alongside Rock v Cena and HBK v Undertaker), I just feel the right place for it to come to an end would be under the lights of Wrestle Mania where Sting is likely to wrestle his first and possibly only WWE match and beat Triple H, defeat the Authority in his "home state" and bring down the curtain not only on the storyline but his own glittering career.
That's what the Sting fan inside me wants, whether it plays it that way....I don't know. In any case I hope to finally see him debut in the WWE on Sunday if the rumours are true. |

I recall rumours suggesting he'd debut around this time so it makes sense. Of course the dream scenario for many years was Undertaker v Sting but without the streak it's a no-go area in my opinion. It just wouldn't have the hype or the aura and besides, Taker's fitness is questionable and arguably WM 30 was even beyond him. People suggested Bray Wyatt v Sting but given the considerable age gap and possible fitness/physical ability gap that could well be a disaster waiting to happen. Cena and his fruity pebbles wouldn't do it justice neither (dare I say it) would the Rock. It needs to be a traditional good v evil match with Sting representing the good and Triple H the evil of the Authority. Think of the entrances; Triple H coming out to the game, some 300-esque entrance with armour et al. Then Sting taking it one step further with his creepy, psychological crow entrance. Then again it might just be Sting and Grumpy Cat v Bo Dallas and Fandango. |

If Sting did show up, and compete, he'd have to go over in some capacity.

Ziggler would be a huge surprise but unlikely. Cena heel turn.....the magnitude of that would simply overshadow Sting's debut so unlikely. The problem is none of those on Team Authority are capable of laying out Cena unless of course Brock Lesnar was scheduled to appear at the end and "offer a helping hand". Brock Lesnar though not part of the Authority per se seems to be scripted as an "ally" of the Authority. They wouldn't have Rusev and Harper join the Authority and win belts only for the group to be dismantled or dethroned so soon. I think it's all part of a plan to have the Authority/heels hold the belts for particular period. I wouldn't be surprised if they were doing this along the lines of the old WCW v NWO feud as I alluded to before. Some will say why rehash an old storyline but the storyline is now in the distant past that the new generation can enjoy it without it feeling tedious and the older fans can "relive the moment". |

I'm intrigued to see how far WWE are going with Sting and whether he might wrestle more than just the one match. One article I read suggested a possible WWE title match but surely that would be ridiculous? I can't see him coping physically in a match with Lesnar. The only way Sting would be fighting for the title would be if Triple H were to be holding the belt but to have either of them hold the belt would damage the up and coming members of the roster, not to mention how Seth Rollins with his briefcase would factor into the equation.....(unless he won the belt from Lesnar and got beat down by Triple H in a match/forced to surrender the title....please no. Alternatively Rollins attempts to cash-in but is thwarted by Ambrose or even Reigns). |

Did that post make sense? I'm high on painkillers right now. Struggling to keep you eye open + struggling to make sense of what you're saying whilst in his situation = still better than some posters.
