It was, but Lars was Fry's duplicate, Bender gets it off Lars' ass and goes back to put in on Fry at Lars' funeral, so "the whole thing makes sense" as Nibbler put it.

Yeah but after he puts it on Fry, he doesn't have another copy of it, does he?

He only looked at the actual code twice, every other time it was from memory, so going off that he didn't get it wiped the second time, he should be able to do it whenever he wants.

So wait, has Nibbler talked to people before without wiping their memory? Because tonight they didn't really react like it was weird that Nibbler was talking, while every other time they freaked out.

They seem to be going back and forth on whether Fry and Leela are together or not. Kinda confusing.

Wasn't doubting anything. Was saying it as a 'conditional suggestion'.

You are doubting. Just accept that the news ones are not as good.

Now I'm beginning to doubt it.
I feel that you can't suggest they aren't good until you at least give them a chance. And you haven't given them a proper chance. Seriously, they're like 20-some minutes long. You can't watch several of those before casting judgement? |

Saying this because I love you BDC, and I am only looking out for your best interest. As a Futurama fan, it is in your best interest to give it a real chance. Don't know how you could disagree with that logic.

Yeah, I've given them a chance, I've seen two full episodes and that have been lacking.

Watch "The Late Philip J Fry", and if you still have the same opinion then I am going to assume Kane Knight has attached a brain slug to you.

So you are saying one episode is good, therefore the entire new series is amazing? Because that is how you are sounding.

I feel that about 6 of the 8 new episodes are on par with, or better (would definitely even say some are as good as the 'best' futurama episodes). Considering there are 8 episodes out so far, I don't think it's fair to judge the revival of an old show on only 2 episodes. Or even three. It took a couple to really get the flow of the show back, and I feel that there have been several episodes which truly felt as if the show had never stopped.
Not jumping down your throat or anything. I just feel that that episode is probably my favorite of the new ones, and if there is any one that would make you want to watch the rest, it would be that one because it may just restore your faith in the writers. |

I don't believe the 2 I've seen are the first of the new ones, therefore they weren't the first couple that took it to get it flowing again. These two that I have seen should have been on par with the old episodes according to your logic. They were not, and I am giving them a fair chance when I was watching.

Fucks sake. Forget I said anything, and go back to feeling upset that Futurama is gone and never coming back the way you imagined. I'm sure it will be a much better use of your time. It's too bad you'll never know if it's better.

ahahahahahaha, you are such a dumb faggot. Go cry me a river. I never said I'm going to never watch another episode. I said they aren't as good as the old ones.

I saw the commercials, but haven't had a chance to see it yet. I'll get around to it eventually. But robot dinosaurs seems like they are bending over backwards to hide their flaws

Yeah, seriously BDC, wTF is wrong with you? Why can't you just blindly suck the cock of futurama like a true fan? Being capable of discerning more than hating to the point of nerd rage or loving to the point of pole slobbering is just bad, man. I can't explain why, but showing any form of criticism is just bad!

Maybe it;s because I watched it quite drunk, but I hated that episode. Just wasn't funny in the slightest.

I was trying to convince him to give it a real chance, not to fuck it up the ass like it's going to be the best sex he's ever had. Also can't believe you don't realize you're doing practically the exact thing you're accusing me of, but on the opposing argument. Blindly raging against someone who doesn't share the opinion that new Futurama is bad. I don't think it is bad, or at least 'anywhere near as bad' as you've been trying to make it out to be. Hell, you don't even think they're all bad, if there's any truth to your previous posts in this thread. So what do you do? Insult up one side and down the other, something I at least managed to avoid this time. Sorry not everyone shares your cynical views on the quality of a cartoon. |

I have a feeling that's going to be an "average" episode, though. Unremarkable, mildly funny. There are worse episodes and better ones, but I think the bottom line is that this will be the "standard." |

Not sure what you mean by dishonest, as nothing in the post you replied to could be construed as such. He's not willing, in my opinion, to give it a real shot. So he'll be oblivious to any episodes which were good, because of his refusal to watch them, and will keep thinking Futurama has failed in its return.
He can claim that he never said he wont watch more, but before saying that, he flat out refused to watch any others, and is basing the entire reboot on the quality of 2 episodes he watched. If he is going to watch more later, then he is just being a stubborn ass who was purposely creating an argument by not giving the current ones a shot. That's all it comes down to. Either he's going to watch them anyways, making his whole struggle to refuse watching them null and void (meaning this was confrontation for the sake of confrontation), or he's never going to watch them again, and I'll gladly consider him an ass for basing his whole opinion of the reboot on 2 episodes. |
