Heroes
Did anyone catch this premiere?
Seemed like a solid show. I felt like they were trying too hard to emulate lost's format, and there were pretty cheesy parts, but it was good enough that I'm interested in watching next week's. The villain seemed straight out of the secret world of alex mack, by the way. |

Yeah watched it last night and wasn;t REALLY impressed but I'll keep watching. Seems like it's moving real fast though.

I was a little disappointed, but I had my hopes really really high for this show. It's still very good, and I'll definitely watch next week. But a lot of it feels like an X-Men knockoff (scientist who's studying "the next step in evolution," teleporter, psychic, healer...)

I was interested, gave it a few minutes. Just wasn't feeling it. Don't need another show like that. Lost, while good annoys me enough with all the fucking secrets. TV shows need to get to the point faster. I can't be watching 5 seasons of a show just to find out why everything is going on.

I d/l it last night, I'll watch it again - if only to see that mirror chick fuck some more dudes up.
Also, the Jap guy telling his friend that Aborigines can bend time and space is totally wrong. The only thing Abos can bend is wood, and then they throw the fucker. |

I enjoyed it. It wasn't great but I think it'll pick up. Ali Larter is smoking hot.
So is that cheerleader chick. |

I dug the way they made it seem like the younger brother could fly, only to... LOL have it be the older brother. Time will tell if the younger brother can also fly or whatever, but it was a nice twist.
Overall I thought the show was good. Whether or not I'll be up to watching all the time, I don't know. I'm bad at keeping up on TV shows. Like BattleStar G, I really like that show, but rarely catch it. - White man's burden I guess. |

Hopefully the pilot from Lost won't get eaten by a monster.

Episode 2 has be posted on Demoniod, I'm downloading now.
I don't think the younger brother will have any powers at all - he's the believer and the older one is the level headed cynic. I reckon the younger one will get jealous of his older brother and turn evil. |

I just hate the villain. He just seems way too cartoon evil. Plus, the methods to indicate he's the bad guy are too cliché, like holding the shot on him for a long time after someone leaves the room as ominous music plays.
Other than that, I'm really enjoying the show. |

From what I saw of the show (ie the Premiere) I liked it. What I didn't like is how they evolved everything into one episode and tried to have various subplots within that one airing.
But then again, the little girl from Remember the Titans has grown up alright. She's a babe. Final Destination girl would also get it too. One final note, they totally ripped off X-Men and sodomized it. If they can at least acknowledge (and they made a reference to the comic in the first episode) then all will be well. It's funny too because before that X-Men cartoon on Fox, NBC ran an X-Men cartoon that lasted one episode but didn't go anywhere. Maybe they're trying to make up for lost time? I've liked the show so far...
But regarding the last episode... so if you didn't see it you should probably stop reading now if you don't want it spoiled.... Did they really have to cut Claire open like that? I mean... don't they do that when they want to find out the cause of death? I think in Claire's case the cause would be apparent (ie, big wooden stake embedded in her neck). On that note, geez... Claire is really clumsy. Everytime she falls down she breaks her neck or gets impaled with something. Must be tiresome. |

So does that mean if she gets something in her brain, she "dies"? .. but not if she's gutted ...know what I'm sayin'? Kind of odd that she'd revive by having the stick removed from her brain even though she's since been pulled apart by a coroner.
The Japanese guy is funny. |
