They are amazing. I don't even want to hint at anything that happens but they are beyond words.

I've heard the first 4 episodes alone blow season 5 out of the water.
I think that may be a bit of an exaggeration, BUT WE'LL SEE. CAN'T WAIT TILL SUNDAY |

Finished season 5 about 10 minutes ago and GOOD GOD it was awesome. Not sure when the sixth will pick up from, but hopefully it will be fairly close to the end of 5, so we can see what happens to the loose ends.

All that's heard is that Bauer went through intense torture and that within the first episode, we will learn of all the "damage" that was done.

Going out to dinner with friends tonight, but I'm totally taping this and watching it as soon as I get home. Who cares if I have to work in the morning? The fucking "24" premiere is tonight!

LOL.
Seriously though, the way they showed at the beginning about how the toll of the Chinese torture took on him was so well written. It showed Jack being basically a shell, almost just a fragment of his former self. Hats off to the 24 writers for portraying that in the way they did. It makes me feel for Jack even more. |

Gonna be interesting to see what changes everything tommorow.
See what I'm talking about Jack being a shell of his former self. Crying and saying he can't do this anymore. THAT'S INSANE |

freeeakin sweet. Jack's getting worn out. It's funny how he ripped someones artery out of neck with his teeth and in the same hour, can't stab someone with a knife anymore. I guess it's gradual, but I'm interested.

Right, obviously because of the torture that he suffered. I thought it was odd that he stopped with the torture and then the other guy go it out of him.
