Besides the Dark Knight, it is my favorite movie. I thought V was very good. I didn't even look at it as a comic book movie. I did the same thing with Tom Jane's Punisher. It was a good movie and didn't seem like a comic book movie.

Watchmen was a pretty good movie I thought. I never read the graphic novel. My brother has but he didn't tell me what happens. Rorshach is one of the best characters ever created. He is like Stone Cold Steve Austin in the way that he is a hero but is extremely rebellious and takes no shit from anybody. That's how I viewed his character. he is the leader in my opinion. Laurie was the other character I liked for certain reasons. She looke great in that outfit and she has a sexy face, always an important feauture for me. Nite Owl was my least favorite character. He's extremely nerdy and the guy that plays him I don't think is that good of an actor. It didn't seem like 2 hours and 40 minutes I agree with most people on that. The only gripe I had with the movie was a scene with the Comedian. I am not a fan of the Comedian personally. That scene where he beats Carla Gugino's characters is very disturbing. Beating women doesn't make you a man. It makes you look like a cowardly asshole, especially cause she didn't want to have sex with him was his reason to beat her. Sorry that scene just really bothered me.

Yeah I realize he wasn't actually beating her, but when you're watching the movie he is meant to be beating her and it shows him beating her while you are watching the movie. It was disturbing to watch. That's what I am saying.

When I saw it the theater was packed and the whole audience was silent while the Comedian beat her.

That's what's supposed to happen. Motion picturers depict events and tap into emotions to tell a story.
