I think a flop(!) should be counted as a Technical. It would be the right punishment (1 free throw plus possession), and it would scare the twats from trying it again or else getting kicked.

Why is everybody so consumed with flopping now? It's been apart of the game forever.

It's because Stern made such a big deal about it before the season.

Kinda odd that we have teams with irregular mascots..,Heat Magic, Thunder, and Jazz I'm looking right at ya. It makes subjet verb agreement a nightmare!

Bunch of NBA news:
NBA fined Chris Bosh $5,000 for his flop yesterday. Kobe Bryant teases he's extending his "retirement" goal by another season. Was rumored next season would be his last (always desired to retire around the age of 35-36) but now his goal is for two more seasons. Dwight Howard currently rumored to be interested in playing for the Clippers next season especially now that Chris Paul has been in close contacts with him recently. If it doesn't happen its because the Hawks are rumored to be making a strong push for both guys. Nets coach Jason Kidd recently extended an offer towards former Pistons coach Lawrence Frank to be part of his staff for next season. If he accepts, it lets him stay in New Jersey and with his wife who is currently ill. |

Andre Iguodala is going to opt out of the last year of his 16 million dollar contract.
He is an idiot, and the people that pay him will be even bigger idiots |

Clippers-Cs started trade talks for Rivers while the Clippers are also considering a deal with the Lakers as another option.
Quote:
Yahoo Sports is stating the Clippers-Cs deal would involve the Clippers getting KG and Doc while the Cs would get Jordan and a 2 1st Round draft picks. Pierce would be rumored to be traded in a second deal at a later time. Although LA Times is stating the Clippers are already planning to hire either Lionel Hollins or Brian Shaw by next week if no trade is agreed to by the Cs. |

Would pull the trigger on that Blake/Bledsoe deal in a heart beat if i were the Lakers. Blake can put up very similar numbers, cost less, and they get a promising young PG.

The LA media has a reputation in being soft compared to the east coast media but I don't think Dwight would be probably leaving if it wasn't for all the negative media coverage.

Clippers-Cs trade deal on hold and probably about to collapse again.
Clippers do not want to trade Bledsoe while the Cs want him in any deal that also involves KG going to the Clippers. The Clippers are refusing because they need him in order to persuade the Lakers to trade Howard. Whole thing is expected to be done or fall apart within the next 1-2 days. If both fail then there is another series of potential deals involving several teams for Bledsoe. Quote:

It's fishy to me that Dwade can go from looking to washed up to best player in the league in two games.

Clippers-Cs trade talks fell apart again.
Cs were willing to drop demands for Bledsoe but the Clippers didn't want to give up 2 1st Round picks. Clippers currently looking at Lionel Hollins, Brian Shaw, and Brian Scott as their next coach. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/93...s-deal-sources Update: Clippers also rumored to not be willing to pay Doc's current contract and wanted either the Cs to pay part of it (big reason why the Cs wanted 2 1st Rd picks) or Doc to take a pay cut. Probably could blame Pop more considering he screwed up with the rest timing early in the 4th.
Lebron should be thanking Ray Allen tonight didn't become a national "LOL Heat" night. |
