SCG Radio #40 - Timelining the Monday Night War in 1996 (October to December)
For the second week in a row, this week's Squared Circle Gazette Radio returns to our History of the Monday Night War Timeline, complete with inside notes from the Wrestling Observer Newsletters of the era. This week we cover from October to the end of December 1996, talking the nWo membership drive, the battle for Bret Hart, Rowdy Roddy Piper's return, the emergence of Steve Austin, Pillman 9mm, the origins of Crow Sting, and a lot of numbers and the stories they tell.
A really good show this week, and the response to this series so far has been very positive - check it out and let me know what you think! http://squaredcirclegazette.podbean....1996-Part3.mp3 Crazy Like A Fox - The Definitive Chronicle of Brian Pillman 20 Years Later **Featuring interviews with members of the Pillman family, Dave Meltzer, Kim Wood, Raven, Jim Cornette, Mark Madden, Shane Douglas, Mark Coleman, Alex Marvez, Les Thatcher and many more close friends and colleagues** Available on Amazon now: http://amzn.to/2h93SxL |

I just finished watching all of the Nitros on the Network. It was fun to hear Dave (and the SCG gang)'s thoughts on those shows. Great listen as always. The Tatanka news was amusing, since he's something of a meme around here.
Excited for the tag 'cast next week. Going to get a wide range of answers, I'd imagine. |

Thanks very much, glad you dug it. Will be posting the tag question on here shortly.
But yeh, Tatanka coming this close to being an nWo member was news to me... |
