Official Rate The Musician/Artist Suggestion Thread
Give me 5 per day if you can, Ill take a quick look through, and pick the 5 I most see, not saying if it will the correct 5 but if I see a name 2-3 times, that goes up.

Actually I like the sound of 3 per day, and you guys suggesting will keep you happy as it varies the music into genres I know little about and few artists from.

Now that that's out of the way:
Led Zep The Beatles The Who Queen 3 Doors Down As someone said before, just look at the request thread and pick arbitrarily or whatever. I mean, the idea of being "fair" is nice and all, but I doubt anyone was sitting around thinking "When is he gonna get to Rhianna?" |

I'm trying to be fair to everyone, and not just a genre either, I thought maybe because I like hard rock/metal I was doing more, so I figured I would do a rap/hip hop/pop/r&b and Rihanna was on the local radio station, so I'm like Why not. |

Fair is nice, but again, know your audience.
You want some other suggestions? Pearl Jam Cypress Hill Bone, Thugs n Harmony Extreme Uhhh...Melissa Etheridge. Guster (Hey, you wanted diversity? Choose some folk acts) Hank Williams (Pick one) Dwight Yoakam The Velvet Underground There, some decent diversity. Not exactly the encyclopedia musica, but.... |

I'd mention a ton more bands, but you'd end up with like four people rating them because of the limited number who would have heard of them.
And I'm sure I can come up with a hundred other bands that people do know. |

You also might at some point want to just keep a database of the top 50 or 100. You'll run into more musicians than wrestlers

That's the idea. I mean, with 3 or 5 guys a day, we're looking at 20-30 people a week. A top 20 doesn't quite cover that kind of turnover, really.
Another suggestion, you might want to put the name of the artist next to the number in the title. |

Yeah, it's the "with 3-5 a day" bit that's found me thinking it.
