If we're talking abortions, these three are basically in the same vein:
Jeff Hardy vs Sting at Victory Road Sting vs Hulk Hogan at Halloween Havoc Jeff Jarrett vs Hulk Hogan at Bash at the Beach Basically non-matches though. If we're talking about the absolute "worst" match, I mean, it's probably some undercard match from WCW circa 97-00. Brad Armstrong vs Berlyn from Halloween Havoc 1999 comes to mind. If we're talking about "famously" bad matches... probably Triple H vs Steiner from Royal Rumble or Kevin Nash vs Hulk Hogan from Road Wild 1999. Absolutely atrocious. |

Hardly a match, really, but it needs to be said: Hogan v. Yokozuna @ WM IX.

I know I'm late to the party but a few weeks ago I watched the Halloween Havoc that is famous for the Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio match. I decided to stick with the whole show afterwards and may I please ask: Who the hell thought it would be a good idea to put Hogan and Piper in a cage match?
Also in terms of damage it did to a promotion surely Hogan vs Warrior has to win this? The match that caused the PPV to go over time which resulted in WCW having to issue refunds, lost them a tonne of goodwill, and then they had to give away the real main event on free TV the next night |

Bishoff was happy that wcw won the ratings that night, due to the free ppv.

The Warrior/Goldust feud was entertaining and different, and the match isn't even really a match due to Goldust's injury. I don't think that even deserves a mention, honestly.

That one depends on perspective I suppose. Had I paid for that show expecting to see Warrior wrestle Goldust for the IC Title and got that glorified angle that, as you say, was only really disguised as a match, I'd be pissed.

Hmm. This appears to be a Podbean error by the look of things, will keep on top of it...thanks for the heads up ;-)

Jerry "The King" Lawler versus Michael Cole
At least most of the mentioned matches were short or 20 minutes. Lawler-Cole went 30+ minutes from entrance-to-bell-to-finish at WrestleMania. |

That DDP and Jay Leno vs Hogan and Bischoff match. That was a PPV, right?
Dennis Rodman match, too. Arquette winning the title. Obvious choices, I guess. First one was the most ridiculous I think. Making Jay Leno look like a total badass and manhandling Hogan. Jesus. |

Just keep celebs out of the ring is what I'm saying.
Well, Arrow did ok. And surprisingly so did Snooki. |
