I would imagine Stark and Wayne would be extremely paranoid of one another. Stark would think that Bruce is a guy that is always on the edge and Wayne would think Stark is too reckless to have so much power. Totally would keep giant files, analysis', etc on one another. |

Having Stark and Waynes corporate interests inter-twined with their hero personas would be the appropriate storytelling device for such a crossover.

I'd so much rather see Batman, years later, dust off a gift Stark suit in a pinch, rather than just use it to fight against or alongside Iron Man in a few panels.

Absolutely.
Stark-Wayne merger. Would be interesting if they were to compete financially. Then again, Wayne does not look like a destructive businessman. I doubt much would come of it. Inter-wined enterprises is probably more realistic. |

Oh yeah, new random thought:
Nightwing is, bar none, the MOST AWESOME name for a superhero EVER. |

Gotta admit, though, DC heroes have lame names compared to Marvel. If I was in either universe I'd get nervous the "X-Men" or a "Wolverine" was coming after me rather than hearing about a "Teen Titans" or a "Black Canary" coming after me.

Justice League is a lame name too. It sounds like an afterschool activity. It's one step up from Team Discovery Channel.
I'd much rather be called an Avenger |

"extreme justice" sounds a bit frightening to be honest, but not because they're superheroes; because it sounds like they're going to do really fucking weird shit to you once they've caught you.
"legion of super-heroes" is pretty cool but it's also very obvious. i like the word "legion" but it kind of gets a bit weak after that. "legion", however, is badass. "titans" by itself, as they've been going by lately, is alright too. "outsiders" isn't particularly awful. there is, however, no saving "young justice". the show should be good. terrible group name though. |

on the other side of the coin, for all of marvel's avengers and x-men, there are still things like the "all-winners squad", "teen brigade", and "action pack".

Marvel has always involved the whole military aspect in a more distinct way. I think that's a big part of why things like The Avengers, X-Men, SHIELD, etc. seem so badass

Marvel characters seem like they exist in a world that is relatively self sufficient while the world depends on the heros in the DC universe

Marvel heroes are more like action heroes, in a world of science and weapons, whereas DC characters seem more like mythological figures

it just seems like in DC, the world and its governments have given up to the heros and relys on them to run the show and keep everyone safe while in marvel, the US is not against marching an army against heros and villains if need be. especially against the mutants.

Like the Justice Lords better despite the totalitarianism of the name and group and at least they aren't calling them the Super Friends

I have always felt the Marvel Universe is meant to reflect the world we live in more than the DC Universe. As others pointed out, I think governments react realistically in the Marvel Universe: stubborn as fuck. For example, I like how despite having no progress at all, armies are always trying to kill the hulk.
In DC, as others have pointed out, it seems like heroes pretty much run the show. |

Marvel also seems to have a better developed world because they DO have like a bajillion more titles a month than DC does.

I feel the Marvel Universe is overall more "mature" and complex since it tries to relate to the real world..which is also a flaw since it can create storyline inconsistencies(something DC deals with much better.) I remember a while watching some documentary on comics some artists and writers said they have always felt like most comic readers start out with DC and when they get older they graduate to Marvel. Now, of course that is a very generalized statement. DC has had some super incredible stories that were def. not meant for children. But I feel since DC has heroes with such an epic legacy such as Super-Man, they feel like they probably can't take as many liberties.
