Good game, I can stomach losing to a good team. This feels better than losing to Seattle.
Gotta tighten up for Philly. |

Did Droford make any ridiculous predictions before this game too?

Yeah, hard to be devastated by this loss. I could have done without the FUCKING 3rd down draw play for the 5 millionth time - but it was a good game. Overtime would have been a crapshoot that could have gone either way regardless.
Next week against the Eagles has become massively important though. Gotta win the game or else the NY media will go full bore with "THREEPEAT GIANTS COLLAPSE" talk. |

At first I thought he was just helping Tebow place the player where the ball was meant to be thrown and then realized that he actually caught the ball.

Spent the whole day up in Delaware and got to watch all of the games today at once, was interesting. Didn't win on my football bet (Had the Cardinals +14.5, Texans,Cowboys and 49ers..but I also had the Bengals +3.5..ugh) I was not impressed with the Bengals play vs the Steelers, and thus even after the bad game the Ravens had vs the Seahawks I don't have much concern for the Bengals next week in Baltimore, just like they got fired up after the bad losses vs the Titans and Jaguars, I figure they will do the same next week.
I do however have less hope for the 49ers game, but I still cling to the fact that its a short week and its in Baltimore. |

Great win with the defense playing great today.
Sanchez I think this is the first win in NY since Rex Ryan became the Jets coach. Brady and Belichick also pass Marino and Shula for most wins all-time for a coach/QB combo. |

I think I heard Al Michaels or Collinsworth say it was the most points the Jets have allowed since Ryan has been their head coach.

They probably only meant for home loss in the Rex Ryan era since the 45-3 was an away loss which was either the worst ever away loss or overall game in Jets history.

Terrible night but every season under Rex we get smashed by the Pats and end up further than them so we'll see. Would just love a division title, can't see the Jets reaching a Super Bowl until they do. 3 road play off games is just too tough for this team.

Yesterday's game was awesome simply because I don't have to hear "Are the 49ers for real?" on ESPN 3000 times a day anymore. I'm sure they'll come up with something else to annoy the shit out of people with but... one day at a time I guess.

So don't even play him the rest of the year. |

No because that gives the Eagles an excuse to not fire Andy Reid.
Legend, did you hear Tony Bruno cut the press conference today after Reid said "I gotta do better" for the 100th time? |

So far only a tabloid paper has reported Belichick told the Jets to suck his wang while neither Belichick, anyone on the Jets, nor any other place has confirmed what was said.

Matt Cassel is likely out as well. PALKO TIME
QBs are dropping like flies.. Definitely rooting against the Texans and hoping the Titans can pull out the division since the Titans have the tiebreaker with the Ravens and the Ravens have the tiebreaker with Houston based on head to head. Also rooting for the Patriots/against the Jets. Pretty much all of the AFC Wild Card and division winners right there. |

After Week 5 I said that the Packers had a very real shot at going 19-0. As each week passes I feel better about that claim. Rodgers could suffer a season ending injury in practice tomorrow and still win the MVP by a wide margin.

I will call it now..with my certified Droford Jinx so it won't happen seal of approval:
Tampa Bay will beat the Packers next week. Packers will overlook them for the short week @ Detroit ahead of them and ruin the undefeated Packers at Lions on Thanksgiving game. |

Its been 61 years since a team didn't attempt a pass in an NFL game..I dont think that the "do not pass" playbook is going to work.

1933 Cincinnati Reds only completed 25 passes out of 102 (also fewest for attempts) in a 10 game season. They managed to win..3 games (3-6-1)
Their #1 passer was a guy named Lew Pope who in 5 starts went 10 of 42 for 115 yards and 10 interceptions, no touchdowns. |

And the 1933 NY Giants went 11-3 completing 74 of 178. Point?
