Big Show is the goods and Orton is the second most over in the company.

Orton needs to go back to the Legend Killer gimmick or something close to it. Face Orton is boring as fuck. Technically, he is no different than Cena with the 5 moves of doom:
1) Start convulsing like he thinks he is a real viper 2) Punch, Punch, Punch 3) Irish whip, powerslam (which looks great) 4) 2nd rope spiked DDT 5) RKO |

Pretty much every wrestler only has about 5 moves in TV matches. They expand their movesets on PPV all the time.

Chris Benoit who is apparently one of the best technical wrestlers ever had 5 moves and 3 of them were a knife edge chop.

I'm still holding hope that the predictable finish to Cena/Rock with Cena beating Rock and the two having a tender moment in the ring together happens, but then The Shield attack both guys, lay them out and have their "WrestleMania moment." Best way to end the show and create a Shield buzz.

Oh, and Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Big Show at Extreme Rules once they all fall apart and want to kill each other.

The Shield attacking Rock and Cena is certainly not the best way to end a WrestleMania.

I would, however, also accept Brock Lesnar beating Triple H and Paul Heyman getting control of the WWE. On RAW, Heyman announces that John Cena & The Rock will team up at Extreme Rules to face CM Punk & Brock Lesnar. The Shield can attack Hall of Fame inductee Mick Foley backstage and continue Ambrose's gripes with Foley from last year. Team Hell No & Mick Foley vs. The Shield at Extreme Rules could be worked around Foley's limitations.

I believe The Shield closing WrestleMania in any way, shape or form would be WWE's way of saying "fuck WrestleMania".
It sounds like a way you might end a Hell in a Cell PPV to build to a Survivor Series match the next month. Not a way you end the big one. |

Just like the ending to WrestleMania 2000 and WrestleMania X-Seven destroyed the aura of WrestleMania?

...or all those years where John Cena got boo'd out of the building for beating a bigger star in the main event of WrestleMania.

Yeah, because the most over, established heel in the company winning the main event and one of the most shocking heel turns of all time is right on par with Shield attack #376.

So, you admit that Triple H was the greatest heel of all time in the modern era and worthy of being the first heel to win the main event of WrestleMania?

But yes. You build a match and you have it culminate at WrestleMania. Usually the best culmination is the face walking away with the win. Just like movies usually end with the good guy winning. There's a reason for that. I can't believe I'm actually having to defend why Wrestle fucking Mania ending with a Shield attack is a ridiculous idea right now... |

Only way I'd enjoy it would be if it happened only after the match was finished, and someone big was joining them. Then it would be good. Setting the scene for the new Post-Mania "season" of WWE.

You don't even have to close it on The Shield. You can have a select portion of the babyface roster (even including hometown hero, Zack Ryder) running down to the ring and chasing The Shield off through the crowd -- perhaps with Ambrose even taking the WWE Title with him. |

I find it incredibly annoying that SmackDown features so many replays of what happened on Raw. Can't get my head around the fact they use time on the shorter show that fewer people watch to recap what happened on the longer show that more people watch. If you're watching SmackDown you've probably watched Raw and therefore do not need reminding what happened 4 days previously. On the other hand, they might benefit from replaying what happened on SmackDown non Raw, as fewer people saw what happened on the blue brand.
The time on SmackDown should/could be used to feature guys that don't appear all that regularly or to help develop character/promo ability of the guys that do. Seems WWE waste a huge chunk of the 5 hours of major TV time they have. |

I am in full support of the WWE bringing back the brand split in its full glory. SmackDown could be used to support guys that have cooled or are being built up. New talent could get their feet wet there in preparation for RAW. The stories told on each show could be so unique. Enough time has passed with RAW as a "Supershow" that I feel it would almost be fresh and exciting if you had to tune in to SmackDown to see certain Superstars.

I fucking hate how WWE call every MiTB winner 'Mr. Money In The Bank' now. That was RVD's tagline when he won. Seriously grinds my gears.

The Cody Rhodes face turn is idiotic. The whole idea, from what I gather, is he's upset that in a match where it's everyone for themselves his partner shoved him off the ladder so that he (Sandow) could win the match ? This type of angle really only works to turn someone heel after they become jealous, not the other way around. Cody isn't over enough for the fans to care he got screwed. I assume they really only did this to propel Sandow to upper mid card/ ME status anyway, but it's still stupid.

I think it is the manner in which Sandow turned on Rhodes. You can compete in the same contest with your brother for the same prize, but that doesn't mean you have to break every bone in his body.

Also, in my opinion, Cody is over with the fans, especially after MITB. The crowd was behind Cody during the MITB match, despite being a heel at that time. What Sandow did to Cody gave the crowd a reason to hate Sandow more and feel sorry for Cody. Not only because Sandow screwed his best friend, but also because he screwed over the guy that the crowd were behind. The crowd wanted Cody to win and he nearly did win but Sandow put a stop to it and won the match himself and didn't even show any signs of remorse.
The next night on Raw pretty much cemented Cody's role as a face. He ran out and attacked Sandow for what he did to him the previous night, and the crowd loved it and you could hear that they were firmly behind him. Add in the fact that Sandow did the classic cowardly running away thing, and it gave the crowd more reason to get behind Cody. |

I really hope Sandow doesn't become a World Champion. The dude is just too much of a "gimmick" (and not in a good way) for me to take seriously.
