STARRING a wrestler, I'd have to say either Mr. Nanny (cant believe I liked suburban commando over that trash, but at least taker had a cameo in SC), or no holds barred (i liked the movie as a kid, but as an adult (shudder)).
Having a wrestler in it, I'd say ready to rumble. honorable mentions include DOA, grandmas boy, and other "gems" I never saw chaperone, knucklehead, the marine, 12 rounds, etc, so i cant comment on those except that i couldnt get past the previews. I liked see no evil w kane, mainly because of its campness. |

another honorable mention, even though i liked it for its cheesy campness, is the Roddy Piper movie "they live"

Have to add a better one: Champions (1998)
Ken Shamrock was a wrestler at one point so it counts. Anyway, this movie makes Mr. Nanny look like They Live and Body Slam look like the Wrestler. Last edited by Vastardikai; 02-13-2012 at 03:33 AM. Reason: had to add the year of this stinker and part of the ending with commentary. |

On a side note, anyone else ever notice exactly how many movies Terry Funk has been in? And he's always some flunky who gets his ass kicked and/or killed.

Yeah, both Santa's Slay and Santa with Muscles I put in the "So bad that they're entertaining" group. I can't put them as low as the ones that are just all around awful.

I'll see that, and raise you
That's not Conan...(just in case you didn't know that). Besides, why would I be angry? I just got the best news of my life Tuesday that I'm still in charge of RAW! It'll be so good to see ol' Shawn again in about another hour when he finally gets to the arena. |

So someone didn't understand how production music works, and ThroughaMirrorDarklyInsect posts something vaguely helpful, and people are bitchy and confused.
Holy shit, this forum has reached critical ass. |

The Month of May and Wrestlers Deaths???
I started doing a bit of digging, and May kept on popping up. either it was the month of being born or the month of them passing away.
(It's interesting to note, that Rod McMahon was born in May, were as His son Vince passed away also in May. Vincent Kennedy "Vince" McMahon: (66) (born August 24, 1945) Vince McMahon, Sr: (aged 69) (July 6th, 1914 - May 24th, 1984) Roderick James "Jess" McMahon (aged 72)~ (May 26, 1882 – November 22, 1954) Owen James Hart (aged 34) (Odd that Owen was born in May, and also passed in may.). (May 7, 1965 – May 23, 1999) David "Davey" Boy Smith (aged 39) (November 27, 1962 – May 18, 2002) Stewart Edward "Stu" Hart, CM (May 3, 1915 – October 16, 2003) Christopher Michael "Chris" Benoit (aged 40) (May 21, 1967 – June 24, 2007) |

I wouldn't read that much into it. There are only 12 months, and a lot of dead wrestlers, so one of them was bound to have the most.

It would be one thing if it was all deaths, but you can't just throw in people that were born in May. Seems silly. I'm noticing just about zero correlation to anything here.
