Good news, Don't guess they found any other investors and Corgan was pretty much it.

I didn't realize there were two, must have happened when I edited the original post. For some reason, sometimes when I click edit on the original post, it deletes all content in it. Drives me crazy.

This is all sort of surreal to me still. The Smashing Pumpkins, ya know?

This is all ceremonial. She will still maintain the top position of power as chairman, and will also still be involved in day to day ops.
This is a veiled attempt to make it look like she is out the door to get some investors. |

Anyone remember him smashing (pumpkins) Lou e dangerously with the guitar in ECW?
Seems to have been a fan for the longest time, and apparently he was very involved in #broken Matt stuff. Good call I say! |

Good for Corbin but doubt its going to do much for the long run since Dixie still is in charge of everything in the end.
Doesn't really doing anything for all the big investors TNA had tried to court in the past since they all wanted Dixie completely out of power. |

I don't know he turned his investment in to being the President of the company. Pretty wise.

That's probably partially true. I heard that when he wanted to buy MLW over a decade ago, his accountants actually said "You can't afford that." He was probably used to money, then had to take stock. He's probably got a lot out there.

Sometimes you got to take risk. They had already plummeted and are now to a point where they can start to grow again. He got in on the cheap, had to bail them out and is now President of the company so it seems like it's worked out for him so far.

The other thing that I've heard in wrestling, like he really sounds like he loves wrestling when he does interviews. He had a small promotion years ago and this just seems to be the "next step" for him. The company seems to be slowly climbing out of the hole it was in last year around this time, let's see what happens....

I agree and they seem to be going in the right direction with Dixie stepping down. I wish she would have give up even more power but this is a start.

Personal opinion, I don't think it was "Dixie's fault" that TNA had all the problems it did late 2014 - 2015. I think there were a lot of problems that arose in the company, and a lot of things had gone "unchecked" for years. I think that now, especially with a new person in charge, things are gonna be a lot tighter on the business side (hell, if I was investing my money and I was in charge, I'd make sure there's no loose ends) and hopefully some consistency on the business side will make the weekly shows run smoother...

The Hogan years really screwed up the company in the long run with the worst being financial related stuff. That was when they started to tour a lot and roster becoming bloated without getting enough back to cover the costs.

If TNA wanted to be big league they would sign John Cena.
