Seriously though, Roode is main event on RAW worthy.

I was always so-so on Bobby Roode. That theme music/entrance he had did make him look like an old school superstar heel though. It gives him "pizazz" as opposed to seeming like just another generic heel who is interchangeable with all the others. Fucking loved it. He could be a credible main eventer if they were to book him right. Goddammit, I love NXT.

Roode is 39...he should be on Smackdown now. No time to waste imo.

Roode, Joe, AJ and Orton would make an amazing main event scene on Smackdown. I'd love to see an even more special Roode entrance at Wrestlemania.

Aries/Jose - A-Double his typical self, the typical undersized cocky heel. Jose has got some potential, not often I'm a fan of the "over the top" face, but I like Jose.... A little polishing and he could easily be a mid-level face on the main roster
Ember/Billie - Billie is a good hand, needs to find a gimmick but very good. First time ever seeing Ember, needs to be a bit more "crazy" to justify her gimmick, but that can come with time. If I were Naomi, I'd be very concerned for my spot on the roster if Ember can talk at all. Roode/Almas - Roode has been my favourite wrestler for quite some time and to be honest, has no business being in NXT. That same introduction and his entrance could have been used the next night at Summerslam versus *insert mid-level face here*. Almas doesn't seem to be connecting with the audience, if he could that figure out, he'd got a shot. Revival/DIY - Not a huge fan of Revival tbh, but they can definitely go in the ring, that's for sure. They are growing on me. DIY were great, definitely teasing a Ciampa turn in the future, depending on what they do with the CWC, I could see both being sent to Raw if they do break up Asuka/Bayley - Not quite as good as Bayley/Sasha last year, but better than their first match. I don't see anyone defeating Asuka for the title, let her keep it until she's "ready" for the main roster. Excellent swan song for Bayley, she's been ready for a quite awhile Shinsuke/Joe - Shinsuke's entrance gave me goosebumps watching, I can only imagine how great it was live. In my perfect world, he would defeat Undertaker to break the still intact Streak at Mania this year, but alas that will not happen. Joe/Lesnar at Mania (or at least in the future) seems like a logical step, he can even hold his own versus Heyman on the mic for build-up as well. |
